Plant Based - NOT Plastic! We love finding and using alternatives to plastic. They are unscented. These bags work as well as plastic versions, not rips or tears. They stretch as well as regular kitchen garbage bags (NOT the Flexible kind), are easy to open and feel the same as regular plastic garbage bags. The weight feels the same and they are hey to hold our trash and slightly compress prior to taking to the dumpster. We have been using these for years and have never had one split.
