The temperature of the water and environment can play into this. Your water should be 70-80 degrees, no higher. Ideally the environment should be 70-90 degrees. For all our dough, you will want to stick to 4 hours or less as our dough is intended to rise quickly and be ready on short notice. You should NEVER store your pizza dough mixes above 80F or in an extremely humid environment. Our pizza sauces and mojos are less impacted by temperature, but store best at room temperature.

Added the 80’ water needed for 8 minute's , two hours later is more than doubled in size. Used the pizza dough in my outside pizza maker. Unbelievable pizza dough. Light crisp and fluffy with perfect taste. I would highly recommend this pizza dough. Very impressed and this is all I will use now!

I use Urban Slicer Pizza Worx every week and it’s amazing! The dough is easy to work with and makes authentic Neapolitan-style pizza at home. I grew up making pizza in NYC pizza places, and this product really nails that flavor and texture. The Founder is super cool and helpful. I reached out over email and he went out of his way to accommodate me. You can tell they really care about what they make. Highly recommend for anyone serious about homemade pizza!

I bought a pack of three, and each bag turned out poorly. Either the directions are wrong, they forgot to add yeast, or are plain incompetent, but each time the dough was disappointing. Super sticky dough with the amount of water suggested. Absolutely no rise from the crust. Don’t waste your money and make it yourself.

I'm not a chef or even an ameture cook who knows the first thing about making dough of any kind. I know my way around a Weber charcoal grille, and make a pretty mean brisket and bacon cheeseburger. But I enjoy a good pizza and thought I'd try to learn to make it at home. I found an inexpensive mini stand mixer here on Amazon. (after 4 serious shoulder surgeries, I can't kneed a big wad of dough for ten minutes yet!) And then I saw this product and thought, "I like easy." But after 3 tries, I got different results - too wet/tacky, too elastic, and one just good enough to form and bake a pizza. But the inconsistencies puzzled me after watching the Urban Slicer video several times. He made it look so easy I figured there had to be something I was missing or doing wrong. So instead of writing a bad review, I went to the Urban Slicer website and sent a note via the "Contact Us" section there. I thought if I hear back at all, it might be the next day. Lo and behold, literally within 30 minutes, I got an email back from Matt Frampton (Head Pizza Dude as he called himself - the guy in the company video) and Urban Slicer Founder. It was one of the most detailed explanations I could have ever expected on how tricky yeast can be to work with, things that can effect the yeast, even in the package, and then several ways to work around some of the things I experienced. I wanted to share this customer service experience so maybe others might take the time to reach out to them at their website before giving up on the product. Matt even made some suggestions on some simple equipment I can pick up to make my pizza making experience better. Proper tools help a lot! I must admit, the couple pizzas I did manage to make were pretty darn good and the dough/crust was very flavorful, crisp yet had that chewyness I like. My suggestion, reach out to Urban Slicer via their website for help. I'm glad I did. (I'm cooking mine in my conventional electric oven at 500 degrees.)

Delicious. A little hard to work with if you're using an outdoor pizza oven. It tends to stick to the pizza peel. Use LOTS of flour on it if you do use this dough. As far as when it's cooked, it's very good and crisps up nicely. Once you get the hang of the transfer process, I'd say it's worth the money.

This dough is easy to work with and taste good, but it doesn’t rise. I’ve made it multiple times now and followed the directions to a tee and made sure the water was exactly the right temperature and it just doesn’t rise. I will still buy it because it slides off the Pizza peel really easily and taste great.
