Wasn’t sure about this mix - banana bread but adding no bananas? Oh my, the familyeat it ip. A good moist crumb and the top, crispy and it’s not too sweet tasting. I think I might add a little more pecans but other than that, a good quick bread for breakfast or snacking with tea. I would also line the bottom with parchment paper as some of the chocolate bits sink.

I’d heard about Chrissy Tiegens famous banana bread for years. I’d thought about buying this before but at over $10 a box I just couldn’t. So when I saw it on sale for Black Friday I said “Girl, treat yo’self”. Upon its arrival I immediately made some. Y’all. This stuff tastes weird. It has a strange soapy flavor. I smelled it as soon as I poured out the mix. It’s not expired. None of my ingredients were expired. I checked because this stuff is gross. If this is Chrissy’s best banana bread she hates bananas. She hates bread. She hates everyone she’s ever made this for. It’s really bad. And I can’t return it so I have 2 more boxes of over priced hateful bread mix. I may regift. To people I hate.

Good quality and made up easily. I personally think the chocolate over-takes the banana taste. I wish they would bring back the plain banana. I did have an issue though. The boxes came within 2 days of order and all 3 boxes were past the Best Use By date. I was refunded my payment but disappointed.

This came in a box of three which will Make you plenty of banana bread. I like that it is easy to create and takes the work out of trying to figure out what to include for your banana bread. The flavor is good and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s a good thing to also take on trips if you have access to a kitchen. It’s very easy to follow the step by step guide and overall a great item to have in your pantry.
