This is a great gift for any pizza lovers! The packaging looks just like what you would get at a grocery store, but ordering on Amazon saves you the trip. With Prime you can also ship this free to someone if they live across the country which is an awesome perk.     • Can't use in mobile app. Can't easily save to your account. Very annoying to use.

Wow, I had no idea these would be so annoying to use. First off, they do not work at all in the Pizza Hut mobile app. The app expects a certain number of digits when entering a gift card, and won't accept the number these cards use. (This is as of March 2022... we're not exactly in the early days of online ordering) You CAN add the card to your account on the Pizza Hut website, because it accepts the number format of these cards in addition to the format of cards that the mobile app accepts. The problem, though, is that you can't easily use them later... because 1) the cards you add on the website won't appear in the mobile app as a payment option at all, and 2) if you order on the website and choose a card you previously saved, you're required to re-enter the PIN code from the back of the card anyway. That's incredibly stupid. And, side note, ordering on their website using a phone is a terrible experience compared to using the app. Luckily I held onto my cards "just in case", so when I ran into this issue, I was able to find the PIN code. Otherwise I would have been out $50 from the two cards I added to my account on the website - under the assumption that I could just choose those as my payment method when I ordered from them in the future. I can't speak to whether these work in-store, but I would assume they do. I just don't understand why they're such a complete pain in the butt to use with online orders. ... show more
