I’m not snorkeling on a reef — I’m swimming laps for exercise in a pool. It was hard to turn my head to breathe comfortably, so I tried this. Now I breathe with no difficulty at all. I don’t have to turn my head at all, so this is a win for me. Two minor complaints: sometimes the mask leaks a small amount, and my hair (held back by a rubber band) gets caught in the attachment between the mask and snorkel. I suspect these would happen with any mask. The good: other than the fact that it works well for me, I’m surprised at the effectiveness of the “won’t fill with water” mechanism. iI’s nice not to get a mouth full of water. ... show more
