The mask fit well but fogged up too easy. I plan on treating the glass to try and correct that. The snorkel worked well and kept water from entering. Overall mask and snorkel felt sturdy and well-built.

The snorkel set came with earplugs, goggles, and a snorkel. The earplugs were pretty standard rubber ones, so Iโll just talk about the goggles and snorkel. The goggles were quite heavy-duty, with tough-feeling glass. The straps were quite easy to adjust to the correct length and, once seated correctly, the goggles stuck onto my face quite well, rarely letting in any water. However, the glass did fog up quite a bit while snorkeling: starting off with a clear panel, it would take only five to ten minutes for the glass to become obviously foggy. The snorkel functioned well most of the time. There is a clip that connects the snorkel to the goggle strap; undoing it allows the snorkel and goggles to be used separately. (Do note however that if you are attaching it, it has to be on the left side or else the mouthpiece will be misaligned.) The snorkel had a feature that prevents inhalation when the tip of the snorkel is underwater, and that feature worked quite well. Additionally, when I went underwater or surfaced, I could hear an audible โbumpโ as the lock engaged and disengaged, which allowed me to know when I had surfaced enough so that I could breathe. However, on the second day of snorkeling, the float got stuck in the โopenโ position; I had to disassemble the tip of the snorkel to unstick the float in order to use the airlock correctly. Overall, this is a snorkeling set that offers beginners a good way to snorkel and helps prevent them from drinking too much water.

I ordered this mask and snorkel because I was disappointed in the set I bought from the local sporting goods store. It arrived very quickly, in good condition and was complete, including mask, snorkel, ear plugs, mesh bag and user manual with snorkeling tips, (My previous set was mask and snorkel only, and happened to be $10 more expensive). I was immediately happy with the weight and feel of the mask, as it was soft, comfortable and formed a very good seal. I was also happy with the swing away clip to attach the mash to the tube, (I fought endlessly with the clip on my previous mask). The mask is easy to adjust and offers nice clear vision. I have a bit of scruff on my face, but the mask seemed to seal pretty well in spite of it. The only downside I could see is that the mask fogged up a bit when I resurfaced, so I had to clear it every time I went back down. (the only advantage to other mask has on this one). The snorkel tube works very well and is comfortable and does a good job of keeping unwanted water out. Overall, I would have to say you would have a hard time finding a better mask and snorkel at this price.

I like this snorkel set. I don't snorkel a lot and don't really need an expensive rig. I just need it to enjoy seeing the coral and fishes when I'm on vacation. I tried it in my lake to make sure it would work for me. I really liked how easy it was to adjust everything, because some of these cheaper snorkel are terribly difficult to adjust just right to my head and face. I had no trouble with this one. It got a good seal and did keep the water out. It did fog immediately, but I got some antifog stuff that makes it easier to use. This met my needs. If all you need is a simple inexpensive snorkel, I recommend this product.

I just got back from Costa Rica and was saving this for the trip. The water wasn't as clear as I had hoped but I was able to take this out for a bit and try it out. The goggles worked well and I had no problems seeing with them. Due to the water not being clear I did not try the snorkel.
