  • Be prepared to spend time going through all the different features of his board to program it
Very cool board with a lot of different programming options but a pain in the rear end of program I am still unable to get mine off the ground when I go to disengage the button for the safety it will not allow me to go to flight mode still unable to get off the ground would recommend easier board

  • May be counterfeit
Mission Planner will not detect board in either firmware or legacy, web site said no support, may be bad or counterfeit . Qcontrol recognize it and loaded firmware but I can't set it up due to errors on board. I have a friend who is sending a sd card with firmware already on it, who knows it might work. I not blaming vendor this is open source and I will fix it. So be prepared to hurry up and wait or buy a Naza as I have 4 of them ... show more

  • Works Great
I have purchased several items from Readytosky and have had great results every time. I have found their support to be very responsive and willing to solve any problems I've had. Regarding the Pixhawk PX4, I originally had two problems - getting telemetry to work and successfully calibrating the compass. Both were resolved. The compass I was using was defective and was replaced by a new one (purchased from Readytosky) which works fine. The telemetry problem was my fault - used a similar looking module on my laptop - when I used the correct one, telemetry worked. I have not yet flown my Tarot Ironman as I am waiting on a receiver and I have to order a 6S lipo, but looking forward to it. ... show more

  • Buyer beware...
First of all, these are generic CLONED versions of the Pixhawk, not original from Holybro just so everyone knows. Now don't get me wrong, they work and they work well. But I've gone through two of these in the last few months and they both had pretty much the same failure...the micro USB port. The USB port on first Pixhawk broke off of the board when I was unplugging it from my PC. The USB port on the second Pix that I got suddenly burned out and quit working while I had it plugged into my PC. And again, these flight controllers do work, but the micro USB port seems to be their Achilles heel. Buyer beware... ... show more

  • Very good Flight Controller
I found the Readytosky Pixhawk PX4 Flight Controller and associated parts to be very well made and overall of good quality. Using Ardupilot Mission Planner I upgraded the bootloader and flashed several images into this FC ( set as a fmuv3 board ) with no problem. On the bench it works as advertised.

  • Bert controller for the money
This should come with the power supply as it is necessary for correct operation. It is a clone but seems to function as expected. A good value.

  • Awesome flight controller at an awesome price
Awesome flight controller at an awesome price. Easy to mount up and setup. No errors. Solid build quality. I'm a big fan of all the redundancies and automatic fallback, you don't want your rig falling out of the sky because you got a second rate controller.

  • Not the best, I recommend betaflight
I started with these flight control boards when I first started building drones and have to say they really aren't as reactive as most of the Beta Flight chips that require soldering yourself. If you don't know how to, or just don't want to solder this is a decent way to get your home made drone up in the sky. I have to say after learning both sets of software I like betaflight much more. Also, I got a yellow light on one unit with my computer saying Al's error or ... show more
