I'm pleasantly surprised with the amount of features that the Pivo Pod Lite can achieve. HOWEVER; I think all customers should be warned that essentially your Pivo Pod Lite will be a standing phone piece if you do not buy the $30+ remote as well. I'm sorry but this is just taking advantage of customers. The remote should be included. You can't utilize it without the remote. What is the point? It's like buying an iPhone and not including the charging cable. The remote by the way is a cheap piece of plastic made in China that probably costs less than $2 to make. Overall, I do recommend the product; however, the BARE ESSENTIALS should be INCLUDED with the PRICE.

The media could not be loaded. After about 5 months of owning this I’ve realized it literally hasn’t been charging since I got it. It’s finally at 2% which is how I’ve finally realized this. I thought it was just losing power super quick. I put it on the charger for over 24 hours on a quick charger with a reliable cable and it actually decreased from 7% to 2% even though the red light was on showing it was “charging”. I really want to give a a good review on this because it made some awesome videos of me training my dogs but comes with an expiration date?? I’d does tend to get lost sometimes if there’s a lot going on in the background which I have yet to figure out. I emailed their support email. Hoping to hear back Monday.

There's a bit of learning curve involved in figuring out how it works. You have to open the pivo app, pair your phone through bluetooth to record a video. I'm still trying to figure out if it will work with the phone camera itself, like when I'm on a video call and need to be doing chores at the same time in the kitchen...will it hold and track me while I walk here and there? cant figure out if it will. Also, the holding space could have been a bit wider..my phone with it's protective case is a tight fit in it.. I have to really apply pressure to fit it in. It's a great little device for recording videos for instagram reels and similar stuff though.

I bought this thing so I could use it when faceTime'g with the family. The description leads me to believe this is possible. However, after several weeks of experimenting, I've discovered that using a Pivo Pod with any social media video chat was not possible. Even after downloading Pivo Cast, I wasn't able to connect via Zoom or FaceTime. That said, this is NOT a complete waste of money. This is perfect for anyone who is happy to meet using Pivo's video chat servers, or creating videos where you are the star. The Pivo Lite has a standard tripod mount on the bottom and the swivel will handle any size phone or tablet, although you will have to remove it from the case. I tried it out on my iPhone, iPad Air, Android phone, and Levono Duet and they all worked fine for shooting videos and tracking that never to be a world-renown star, me.
