Not what I expected because the height of the webcam stand is insane.... Thanks to this stand, I've been able to improve my facecam in my streams & content. The stand is very flexible & sturdy, no matter what kind of setup you have you can bend it completely & it will stay in place. I quickly learned the length of this stand is a lot, I tried using the stand at full length & it was above everything on my setup & looked insane from its height. Perfect for those with multiple monitors, especially when you plan to have your webcam above a monitor that's flipped/sideways. I will say, for a streaming/gaming setup the length of the stand is overkill if you plan to have it be on the same desk you use, this would be great for those looking to show their hands like opening pokemon cards but otherwise I'd still recommend as I just bent the stand as much as I needed to get the perfect height. ... show more

    • Really long and really sturdy
For anyone shopping for wifi camera stands, I have some "hindsight is 20/20" advice. Please measure how far away you need the camera to mount before making a purchase. I read reviews of others that were "too short", and thought "ok - longer is better, right"? Well there's times that using a bigger tool does not always solve the problem. This mount is really long, and very inflexible. For the shorter span I needed, that makes this a pretty awkward choice, as I can't do serpentine bends to use up the length easily. On the plus side, the strength of this mount means that the camera is NOT going to drift down slowly while you are on a meeting, so as long as you can wrestle this into the right angle, that sucker is NOT moving. If you need to cover a long distance between the camera and the clip end, this is the great choice. If you don't need to span the Grand Canyon of video setups, a shorter choice may be prudent. It worked beautifully, however, for the unintended and unexpected task of holding the camera over the stovetop for a virtual class cooking demonstration. If mounting cameras horizontally was a daily thing, this would be a five star review. The 4-star review is because it's just so insanely difficult to flex and adjust the serpentine, and I'm talking "standing at it using both hands with extreme pressure" level of effort. My error in getting the XL mount would be a non-issue if I could get this one to curve and bend. ... show more

    • Good exercise
The gooseneck is STRONG. Bending this thing into the exact position I wanted was a workout. I also do not recommend trying to bend it into shape while it's clamped on to your desk, it's much easier to bend it into shape before clamping. I needed something to mount my webcam on that would point down at my working surface and not at my face, and this worked perfectly for that. The neck is long enough to get high enough off my desk to give a clear view of everything. Besides the flexible neck, there's also multiple adjustments on the mount itself (ball joint, 360-degree rotation, and a ~160-degree hinge. Once I got the camera into the position I wanted, it was very easy to fine-tune the angle and rotation. ... show more

I bought this to take proctored online exams. Camera is easy to attach, clamp is sturdy but my gosh is it hard to position. The neck is super-stiff and I had a hard time getting the exact angle the proctor required. I suppose if you are using it for static TikTok production or something similar it would be great- but for my purposes it's a PIA. I won't return because I only have one exam left. ... show more

I bought this to to attach to the back of my wide screen monitor so I could mount my webcam above the monitor for teams meetings. I have a light that sits on top of the monitor that prevents me from mounting the web cam on top of the monitor, this worked perfect for what I needed and is very versatile! ... show more

    • The clamp is not strong enough to support the arm in my experience.
Beware. I had high hopes for this webcam stand. However, the clamp is not strong enough to support the heavy arm. The arm is high quality but almost too solid to bend. Given the arm's weight, the clamp they chose when engineering this product is not sufficient to bear the heavy arm. This is without the webcam attached. It's heavy! The elastic bands around the bottom of the clamp are shiny silver and seem to serve no purpose. ... show more

    • Use only on non-moving surfaces, or get c-clamp version instead.
Purchased this to hold a Logitech C920 webcam more in line with my face during video conferences. A plus is that it has a long goose-neck. However, this means it has to be stiffer when the webcam is extended in a more horizontal direction and it can take a bit of work to position it where needed. While the clip may seem to make this more versatile and is rather strong, it really is not strong enough to prevent itself from moving while attempting to adjust the goose-neck. Finally, as others have also mentioned, if it is attached to a desk on which there is movement - even slightest jar - say moving a mouse causes the webcam to shake. This item is best for areas where the camera will be adjusted only once and the clip is attached to a non-moving surface - a kitchen counter, a window sill, a bookshelf or a separate desk. Otherwise go for the c-clamp - the shaking will still be there due to the length of the goose-neck if used on a surface with movement, but it will be easier to adjust, or go for a c-clamp plus some sort solid articulated arm construction like a suspension scissor for example. I am keeping it as it may come in handy elsewhere, but will look for a different solution for my computer desk/work area. Wish I could score this higher. ... show more
