    • It can be a big world out there for hunting for webcams
Logitech has done a super job a voice being on top of good products and their camera line is no exception. They actually still made the camera I was using that was close to 15 years old and during these crazy times the last couple of years I said I have to up my game for the realities of the hybrid world so I by chance shop and shopped and shopped and got this camera new not refurb and it's awesome the only catch 22 is in the software for the particular version of Windows I have. And then there is truth to some of the reviews regarding the auto focus on rare occasion there are times where I have spoofed the camera and goofed it up where it's not going to get me back into focus but that's what I'm doing certain particular movements coming in and out of the camera because I'm busy putzing around doing other stuff but if I'm limiting my movement and I'm not doing anything you know sporadic and everything should be fine. Microphones great I sound good lighting is not bad and auto adjustment features are good. And the software that they give you is essential get the latest and understand how you use it depending on the version of Windows you have for use on popular video chat sites ... show more

    • Holy cow this thing is clear.
I had originally purchased a different webcam that was highly rated on amazon, a no-name brand, that worked fairly well for about 60 days and then started to develop a permanent fog in the video that it produced. The lens and aperture of the off-brand camera had no soil on any part of it and was totally clean. Regardless it would just produce what looked like night vision during the day regardless of having all of the settings turned off for low light. We decided to spend the money on this camera and I have never seen a more clear camera in my life for this price. Not only does it render the most crisp and awesome frame rate (says it's 60 fps but tracks faster than any 60fps camera I've ever had) it produces a crystal clear image in the dark or even a well-lit room. Now when we join our Zoom meetings we have the clearest camera of anyone in the entire group that's participating. The only downside to this camera is that if there is any feature on your face or in your room or space that you don't want shown you might as well not turn it on because this thing will show every detail of everything in the entire room in crystal clarity. Lol I will definitely be ordering another one of these to use for my laptop as a portable camera for YouTube videos. Also the audio is excellent with the microphone. Very very clear audio as well. My other camera would drag and lag and frame drop constantly even at 30 FPS. This one produces 1080p at 60 FPS and doesn't lag or hog up my system memory or anything like that.     • Great, but could be awesome
The camera is great, except for one feature that I needed (but others might not). I needed the camera head to turn/spin left & right, but it does not—it's fixed straight ahead. Instead of having the camera directly in front of me (centered), I prefer to have it off-center. so I have it to the far side of my dual monitor set-up, and then have it turned so that it captures more of a side view of me. First camera I received didn’t work. I setup a swap and they sent it swiftly and even upgraded the camera for the hassle. they also included a label which is fantastic as most of us don’t have printers right? I will say there is no physical lens cover however so if that’s a sticking point look elsewhere. Camera quality is excellent and the setup was a breeze and required little more than plugging it in and tinkering with minor details to fit my setup. It comes with a little tripod but I opted for some double sided tape and plopped it on top of the monitor. Nothing to it. ... show more

Definitely buy if you will only use this for stagnant work/school meetings where there won't be much moving. The camera quality is amazing but moving 3 inches closer/further will get you out of focus and will take around 5-10 seconds for the camera to focus you in again. Even longer for further distances, the mic quality is terrible and I just went and disabled mine and bought a separate mic. ... show more
