The bluetooth and direct audio connection is just mixed together. Youre expexted to use 1 at a time, so there is no mix control. Very logical and conveient. The speakers turn off automatically after an hour (?? Not sure) . Then you have to turn them off for about 10, 15 seconds and finally turn them back on to get power again. That's the only little issue! The bass is good, the treble is good, the volume is good enough. Really impressive for their size. They look nice. Amazing sound quality for music, i was building and all white PC set up and needed white speakers, so i got this ones. They are what they are Studio Monitors, and are best for music, if you looking for more of a media speakers better go with something else, but if your main focus is music get them.

I absolutely love these studio monitors. The accuracy in natural sound is amazing and the quality is incredible. My only set back is my own fault as these didn't come with a 3.5 to 2 1/4 plug in necessary for my interface.

Updated: Originally my review compared these to my much better sounding M Audio speakers. It still stands that these are worse and more expensive. However, to add to the reasons not to buy these: Biggest Flaws: 1: They Turn off automatically if you pause your music for more than a few minutes. So in my case, I have to turn them back on at least 7pr 8 times a day. Contacted pioneer and they said there’s no setting to stay on. 2: They didn’t come with the speaker wire to connect the two together. 3: Less bass than my 16” MacBook Pro speakers. Capable of getting loud but sound worsens and gets more “tinny” was volume increases. 4: Bluetooth only work if your device is within about 10 feet, otherwise it gets choppy. 5: Cheap painted buttons crack and chip away almost instantly. See photo. What’s good about them? 1: They are good for a white/black desk motif. That’s it... Previous Audio Review: Got these to replace my M Audio AV30s. The sound on these is very strange, a lot of treble and weak “bass” but lacking the the mid range. I put bass is quotes because there’s a lot of deep rumble but it’s not quality bass hits for audio recording or impact hits for gaming. It’s more like that muffled radio voice bass, just constantly rumbling beneath the sound. Tried with several genres of music and my old M Audios sounds way better. I’m going to keep these anyway because I wanted white speakers for my desk setup but they are basically just props in the background of YouTube videos. Definitely a waste of money if you’re looking for speakers that actually work or have good sound. ... show more
