I have searched long and hard for lightweight mostly cotton hiking pants since Duluth Trading no longer offers them. Took a chance on these and was pleasantly surprised. Fabric is a bit heavier than I anticipated, but very soft and comfortable (they pass the squat test). Good fit and quality workmanship. I LOVE these pants! It was completely accidental that I stumbled upon them and I am so glad that I did! I was looking for some casual pants to wear on a trip to the Grand Canyon. I always wear pants that are made of athletic, quick dry material, and I wanted something different yet still casual. They are really soft and they stretch (more on this later). I do not plan to wear them hiking on this trip because they would be too hot, but they were great for the airplane and for walking around the park, etc. I ordered two pairs: khaki in size XXL and black in size XL. I am a size 14-16 and the XL fits perfectly. Based on their size charts, an XL is for sizes 16-18, so I would say they run a little small, though I have no waist and am thick there. I actually returned the black pair and have since ordered them in green and teal in a size XL. I kept the khaki in XXL only because I needed to wear them the next day after receiving them. No time to exchange for a size XL. ;) After having worn them for one day, they did stretch out too much and look a bit frumpy and too big now. I am hopeful the size XL will be better. EDIT: I’m changing my review to a 1 star because 3 stars is too generous for blatantly misleading product images. Happy to change it back if the seller changes their product photos. All of the product photos show that these pants have belt loops on the front of the pants as well as the loops on the back. These pants DO NOT have belt loops on the front. That was the single feature that was the “to buy or not to buy”. I need to be able to wear a belt for the purpose of the pants, so I’m returning them. Aside from the misleading product photos, the material feels well constructed and I would have loved them 100% had they had the front belt loops. ... show more

It's good that now there are women's clothes, I really liked the pants, they fit perfectly, the quality is excellent, the most important thing is that for a height of 1.73 the length is good. The color is also very beautiful. Now I want to take others that are thin.
