I put one of these mats in my rabbit cage and expected them to destroy it like they do other mats and towels. They didn't. Absolutely love these for my leopard geckos, I used to use calcium sand but it caused issues with the lizards consuming it by accident. I don't have any problems with this substrate! I do not regret buying this, but it's not easy to clean at all. The coconut husk fragments and is in my tortoise poop all the time. I got this to replace the mulch product and I am not going back, I just wish it was easier to clean and fragmented less.

I like the sections because its easy to take out the one that gets dirty all the time instead of it being one solid piece. Washing is easy to.

I got this for my tortoise tank and I think my tortoise likes it a lot. I was expecting a thin sheet, but was pleasantly surprise on how thick it was. It was also very easy to clean. Just take it out, spray it down, let it dry and reuse. Easy cleaning and worth every penny.

Just what I wanted and expected
I use them in the terrarium for my little (2-inch) desert tortoise baby (Clifford) that my wife rescued from the dogs. I found that my little man does not mess them up very much, so I only change them every 3 to 4 weeks. I can spray them down with hot water and dry them on a clothes line, after which
