Description

The Viper Element soft tip darts are designed with high quality, 90% tungsten and 10% nickel barrels, offering exceptional balance and styling. Using a dense metal like tungsten creates a slim profile dart barrel compared to a dart without tungsten. The higher the percentage of tungsten used, the smaller the profile, allowing for a closer grouping of darts to maximize scoring. Intended for use with electronic dartboards and are ideal for intermediate-to- advanced level players. Each barrel has strategically placed knurled bands, deep grooves and rings that make excellent gripping points and encourages consistent hand placement. Viper Element darts are equipped with heavy-duty, lightweight aluminum shafts with locking holes and diamond-cut etchings. Locking holes in the shaft allow for a tighter fitting to the barrel that improves stability and greatly reduces the need to retighten during play. Quality flights are constructed to help increase speed and reduce drag, delivering a consistent flight path for pinpoint accuracy; detailed graphics are prominently displayed for added flare. They feature 2BA Tufflex Tips II soft tip dart points that have a reinforced cone, making them extremely strong and durable. Simply twist for a tight, secure fitting and easy removal. The barrels are compatible with all 2BA sized corkscrew thread dart points. These darts include an additional set of nylon shafts, flights, flight protectors, 2BA dart points and a dart mechanic wrench. The Viper Element darts and accessories are fashionably stored and protected in the Deluxe Dart Pal case, which features a soft cloth lining and a hard outer shell.

I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience with this purchase, I had to. I purchased the Viper Elite 18g (barrel weight) soft tip darts on Sunday….they arrived 2 days later on tuesday (perfect bc I have league on Wednesday😉). There are 3 grip options (knurled, ringed, or ridgeback). I selected ridgeback since they were slightly cheaper around $36, but all grips look excellent. I had searched around and this was a great buy on a 90% tungsten dart set! The set comes with one complete set of darts, including aluminum shafts, and flight protectors, as well as 1 extra set of flights, 1 extra set of nylon shafts, and some extra 2ba tips, all enclosed in a functional storage case. They also threw in a nice 1”x3” Viper logo sticker👍. Now for performance: The darts have a great hand feel, and the ridgeback grip is perfectly located for my thumb placement. I love the slim shaft allowing for tight groupings without bounce outs, and they feel extremely well balanced. I included 2 pictures of my very first practice rounds with these darts. Literally my first 6 throws with these darts!! First round at bullseye resulted in single bull, double bull, double bull…..Second round at 20’s were 3 triples!!! Needless to say, I can’t wait to use them in league tonight. After those 2 rounds, I instantly got back on Amazon and ordered the same set with the ringed grip option for about the same price ($37ish). These dart’s obviously work great for me and I would highly recommend them! The price is a great value for 90% tungsten barrels and they out performed other higher priced darts I own. Purchased the knurled grip as my first 90% or greater tungsten darts. Have been throwing them for four months and could not be happier for the price point after switching out the stem and flights.

The media could not be loaded. All in all I enjoy these darts very much. The dart tips are very strong and flexible and after about 50 games probably one tip got what looks like a crack in it and I tried to break it and it refused. Doing a quick search online I can't seem to find replacement shafts of the same kind if I wanted them is the only drawback I've found. ... show more

Please keep in mind these are the first "real" darts I have thrown. The only darts previously thrown are the ones that came with the board and a cheap set that I regretfully picked up at Walmart. At first I was a little weary about them being 18 grams (the safe spot seems to be 16 grams for leagues), but upon throwing them I became attached. Pros: -They look good -It grips very comfortably and the dart never feels like it is going to slide out of your hand -More rectangular flights, I prefer it when grouping closely -The throw very nice Cons: -The case isn't very functional, more of a stylish presentation -Only comes with the initial tips, although they are cheap enough separately -Only one set of flights, a second set would have been nice -A little pricey, although it is to be expected with tungsten Overall I really like these darts and think that they will be my preferred soft-tips for some time. ... show more

Bought these for a friend just starting out. Very good barrel durability, length and grip. If shafts and flights are swapped out to players preference, they can be very good competition level darts. GLD is a great brand out of Milwaukee, WI.

The darts are nice and feel pretty good in the hand. I haven’t noticed any improvement on my accuracy but I’m not very good so... but I will say that they are surprisingly durable! Flights are good and never pop out of the shaft even after hitting the floor! It’s a good buy especially for a beginner like me! ... show more
