I used a gold stand similar to this for my wedding, but it got left at the venue. The white looked great at our craft show, though! I know these are usually used for things like flowers and balloons, so it's not the end of the world that they're lightweight. Plus, it's way easier to transport them places. If you are using this in a similar way we did to hang clothes or other heavier items on it, definitely put some weights on the bottom. Our first attempt without weights, it tipped over with about 4-6 shirts on it and actually bent the right vertical side pole. It was easy to bend back in place, and obviously it was put to use. I should also note that we didn't need to weigh it down if we took out some of the vertical bars to make it shorter. It's very easy to take apart and adjust. ... show more
