I absolutely love this bag. Stylish with lots of pockets and different ways to carry it. Packpack style, over the shoulder, or by a handle. Handle makes it great to hang on back of bathroom stall. It also faces with the opening to your back when wearing so it can't be pickpocketed which can be common in the city. There are two open side pockets, and two easy access zipper pockets on either side which are not completely visible which keeps the bag looking classy. Inside the bag there are more separate pockets and the inside holds a good amount. The ONLY annoying thing about this bag is that you may be the only prepared person, and end up holding everyone else's things. I've worn this to the city several times and my vacation in Italy. If I ever lost it I would most definitely repurchase. Don't think, just buy

I have purchased this bag in other colors and love it. The added security when wearing it (zippers are next to my back) are a great feature! There are multiple pockets inside and out for carrying items. My only recommendation would be to add a couple more pockets on the inside for even more organization.

This is such an awesome travel backpack. Used this during my week-long trip to Tokyo. Roomy, secure, has 2 pockets large enough for a water bottle or any Japanese vending machine drink or a small umbrella, and there are also 2 side pockets in the front that are not obvious for easy access to stuff (like hand sanitizer). I like how the rest of the back can only be accessed from the back. I was able to fit so many things inside and it was overall comfortable to wear. It's also waterproof! Got caught in a sudden downpour and my camera equipment inside stayed nice and dry!

I'm so happy I found this. I had a similar lightweight nylon backpack for the last 20 years that looked a little too youthful and a little worn, but could never find anything in the real world that was as lightweight with the same nylon material that repels dirt and is easy to wipe. Enter Amazon, again, to address my greatest needs with a perfect replacement that better suits my age and aesthetic, plus adding the pickpocket deterrent feature of having the zipper lie against your back. It's easy to pull off the backpack and unzip to grab what I need. The zipper is very smooth and high quality. After trying a couple color options, I settled on the black stripe on black nylon. Perfect for a day at an amusement park or for whatever Mom always ends up having to carry at the park, pumpkin patch, whatever. Note: If you're looking for the lightest weight, note that the leathery material is much heavier!

In preparation of my Italy trip, I wanted to get a safe pick-pocket-proof bag. I had used backpack purses almost my whole adult life, and even used on previous European trips twenty years ago. I would wear it backwards in front of me, which was cumbersome inside small shops, and not the best looking at dinner. When I saw this purse/backpack I liked how all zippers are against my back, and not exposed. I liked the shoulder strap combo when out to dinner with friends inside a nice restaurant. I took the fuzzy ball off as to not draw attention to myself. My minus points is of course having to take it off to get inside of it, which could make a person vulnerable. Luckily my partner was right there to cover me. The biggest drawback was almost no good compartments inside. There are a few, but stuff just doesn’t stay in them. There is one zippered small area where I keep my lip balm and extra cash. The bulk of the purse is just a big open area. It’s can hold quite a bit. My stuff got lost inside all the time during the trip causing many small panic attacks. I had tough to myself, “omg, where my passport”! Or hotel key, glasses, wallet, etc. If this purse had better sections, I would be using it back at home. It served me well on my trip, and I will use it again on a trip.

I bought this backpack in red nylon and didn’t care for the look. The black pleather is perfect. It looked higher quality to me. It’s easy to wipe down after being on the floor of a plane. I got the medium and it’s large enough to put a water bottle and everything else I needed. After reading reviews about too much open space, I used different sized makeup bags to add structure and stay organized. I also like the optional shoulder strap and sturdy handle. The straps are a little slick and loosen adjustments but it’s still one of my top favorites. I even shoved a gift bag full of goodies in there without damaging anything in addition to a couple small makeup and charger bags. Big fan.
