  • Very nice high performance pickleball paddle! A bit pricy but carbon fiber
Nice high performance paddle. I can definitely tell a difference when hitting with a nicer racket. Does it justify spending the extra money? Only you can answer that question. . . . . . . . . • An interesting & eye-catching paddle.
I want to start this off by saying I am no way a professional or very highly skilled at Pickleball; however, I did find this paddle enjoyable. I have played about 5 matches using this one now and it is lighter than the one I used to use, and I'm not sure how much the holes are helping, but it does feel like I am swinging faster than before too. Its 'eye-catching' because the other players were at first like "woah, that has holes in it?" and it just ups the intimidation factor a little bit. The paddle also sounds a little different than standard paddles, with a slightly higher pitch when you hit the ball that I imagine comes from the design of the holepunches. For ball control, the paddle has a textured surface and you can feel it when you run your hand over it, almost making a sound like the closing of a zipper. I was even able to put some decent spins on the pickleball compared to my old paddle that doesn't have this textured surface (Context: I don't usually put any spins, I'm not at that reliable yet). ... show more

  • Lightweight Paddle With Reliable Control
I’ve been using this paddle for a while now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how confident I feel during games. It’s lightweight without feeling flimsy, so I can react quickly without losing control. The grip is comfortable even during longer matches, and I haven’t had any issues with slipping or hand fatigue. I also noticed the surface grabs the ball just enough to help me add spin when I need it, which has been a fun upgrade to my playing style. What surprised me most is how solid each shot feels, even when I’m not swinging full force. It’s easy to switch between power and softer, more controlled shots, which makes it great for different types of players. I didn’t expect such a well-rounded paddle at this price, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. ... show more

  • 16 mm design – Swiss cheese hitting surface – Only 7.6 oz
They QFV carbon fiber paddle has holes through the paddle in numerous places. The purpose of these holes is to make the paddle more aerodynamic. It is similar to the ‘aero’ paddles, which have a large slot in the throat of the paddle. QFV’s hole placement is better as they are further from the hand, which enhances the aerodynamic feel. You will definitely hear the swoosh of the paddle going through the air. Removal of the paddle material to form the holes reduces the weight of the paddle to only 7.6 oz. My close up photos of the holes show drilled holes with very little debris removal. The holes are located in the open spaces of the honeycomb substrate – so no core strength is loss. But I am concerned with the carbon fiber face material around the holes. These holes have no secondary bonding of the face material to the core. I can see delamination occurring due to the pounding of the pickle ball. If a US manufacturer produced this paddle, they would test the design with engineering rigor. But Chinese manufacturers cut corners so I know nothing has been tested in the lab. The paddle has a decent amount of surface grit. The handle fits well in my hand. The QFV plays well and noticeably faster through the swing due to the holes. The sound of the pickle ball hits is different from a solid paddle. The sound is like striking a poorly made anvil. I don’t think the holes increase the sweet spot. Overall, the QFV does not play as well as my other paddles. The packaging is nice which creates a gifting option for this paddle. It comes with a nice black polyurethane cover. In all, you get a lot for the $45. current price. But you get what you pay for. I give the QFV a C+ rating. ... show more

  • Lightweight and Powerful Paddle – Great for All Skill Levels
This is my first time using a paddle with an aerodynamic design, and I’m impressed. The lightweight build (just 7.6 oz) makes it easy to maneuver and helps me react faster during play. It also feels well-balanced and delivers great power and control. The carbon abrasion surface adds noticeable grip to the ball, which helps with spin and accuracy. I also like the comfortable grip—it’s soft, non-slip, and doesn’t cause hand fatigue even after extended use. The overall build quality feels solid and durable, and the paddle face texture helps improve performance. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, this paddle offers good value and a great playing experience. ... show more
