I'm a beginner in pickleball but used to play tennis a lot and dapple in badminton and table tennis here and there. Used this paddle first time last night and I am completely satisfied. For $25, it's a great value - I doubt I need anything more fancy until I get really good... in many years. It is light - I put it on my kitchen scale and it came in at 7.8 oz. The handle size is just right for me - I have female medium size hands. I hit some balls on the sweet spot and it feels and sounds great.
