I was very pleased with these alcoholic inks. I used them to tint polymer clay, in addition to laying out a beautiful palette of vibrant colors. Tiny bottles but a little goes a long way. I will definitely consider purchasing these again, in the future.

Some of the inks came with a dried section at the top of the bottle. I shook the bottle and I could not get the white ink to come out until finally I put enough pressure on it and it shot out. Once I got past this the ink was fine. So other than a little dried part preventing the ink from flowing out, I would say it's nicely colored ink.

I've worked with alcohol-based inks for more than 12 years and decided to give these a try. You get a nice assortment of small bottles of color, including two densities of white, which I do not use, relying on dilution to tame the colors down. There is a good selection here, but compared to the more expensive Ranger/Tim Holtz inks I normally use, I found about half the inks suffered from granulation, i e. either excessive and/or gritty insoluble pigment that leaches out like fine sand in the pooled color upon use. I do not like granulation in my work except under specific circumstances. For someone starting out, this set is still a bargain. The bottles are small, the colors intensely saturated and go far. A cautionary note: each bottle is sealed and the tip must be cut or punctured. Fair warning: it is absolutely impossible to do this without ink splattering, as others have noted. Thus warned, I used a pushpin with a wide head to puncture these, using extreme caution by withdrawing the pin slowly and holding the bottle by the nozzle to avoid pressurizing the contents. Although the wide head of the pin took the brunt of the expelled ink, the nozzles still managed to spew fine drops over a two foot square or greater area, including my bare hands and forearms. So cover your table with disposable newspaper, move other objects away, stay away from walls, bare your arms and expect some cleanup with some household alcohol. Obviously, open them all in one session. At least your bottles won't leak in transit! Worth trying as a lower cost alternative, for beginners or the curious. I might even buy this again, but not as my go-to brand.

These Alcohol ink colors did not work as well as they described them to be. They floated on the surface of epoxy resin instead of sinking and becoming a mushroom cloud if you will. The white and black colors were great when using them to become a solid color. Other colors just didn’t perform to their description or video instructions.
