I've ordered these for the first time last month and it worked well for me. My husband and I are super sensitive to scents and I like this a lot because, not only it works well, but the scent is quite mild which makes it more tolerable to the sinuses. The only negative thing I can say about this product is, they break off easily while untangling the coils. I'm out in the yard from 5:30 until almost 9 tending to my garden and chickens and I literally carry a coil around with me. I just wish I could find a way to strap one on my boot without breaking the coil instead of carrying it with me. ... show more

These coils are a must-have for camping or just being outdoors in general. My husband and I camp out on our enclosed porch in the summers because it's just cooler and pleasant to be outside. I light one when it starts getting dark and set it on the table in a dish (to catch the ash- think incense stick, that's what these are like.) There's a smoky scent, but it's not a strong citronella and it's not overwhelming. The bugs *vanish.* And one coil lasts the entire night. We've been using these for years. This was my first time buying this specific brand, but they work as well as any others I've tried. They might be a little cheaper at Family Dollar, but the convenience of delivery makes the cost worth it. ... show more

When we "ordered it again", we didn't know we were getting an updated version of the product. The original smelled great! The PIC II doesn't smell good - it just smells like burning - and is a little harder to light. It still works good, but the original scent was part of the reason we wanted to buy it again. ... show more
