This is the first and only insect repellant try at has ever worked for me. Because I am completely irresistible to mosquitoes and anything in their family, and because I sweat a lot, if I go for a run, it doesn’t work for the entire run. Once I start sweating, I have about 20 minutes to run back to shelter BUT, the fact that this is the only one I purchase and keep in the house and the car, says a lot for a normal person who isn’t like a bright, sticky light to flying insects. If we are at a campfire, you, your friends, neighbors, and your entire extended family, are completely safe from bites because I am the highlight for those. However, it really is the only one I buy. I have tried what seems like every repellant because the bites swell, are very bad, and numerous. Being able to get a full hour and sometimes two, is a luxury for me-especially because I run in a lot of woods and swamps and I prefer to run in hot weather. I’m more comfortable running in 85 degrees than 50. Scent is great! Doesn’t smell like chemicals like regular bug spray and keeps the bug bites away (mosquitoes love me) I will say it never fully feels dry so when I wear it I look a little shiny. Doesn’t stain any of my clothes and doesn’t rub off of skin easily so I’m happy with it
