I asked my friend what highlighter she was wearing because it was absolutely stunning on her. She told me about these buttery highlighters. She wasn't sure of the shade so I purchased three different ones: Rose Gold, Pearl, & Champagne. She later found out it was "Rose Gold" which also happened to be my favorite anyway. I must say that although they are all very buttery and creamy, they all differ in texture/finish! The champagne is a glittery gold shade that was too dark and chunky for me, so I returned it. The pearl is somewhat glittery too but a beautiful frosty white/pink shade. The rose gold, although seems like the darkest shade, looked best on me even on my very fair skin tone. My friend is a darker olive skin tone, but it looked great on both of us. It would probably look amazing on even darker skin tones too. Also, this one doesn't seem to have chunky glitters which makes blending easier. This one is very versatile. It gives an amazing glow that can be both subtle and blinding at the same time. I don't know how to explain it but I'm just obsessed!

I love this! I got the shade rose gold, I’m fair to medium skin tone and this is amaaaazing. I actually like it more than my Laura helper baked gelato swirl illuminator in ballerina. It’s almost an exact dupe for it actually for a fraction of the price. The jaw did take me aback. I wasn’t expecting a twist lid so I fought with it for a few minutes until I realized it wasn’t a pop up lid compact lol that has its own draws though. I travel a lot and I think this will protect it better and maybe not pop open as easily as a compact would. But then it takes a second to open it which may be annoying if I’m in a hurry in the mornings. It’s worth it though.

It does glisten but I think if you don't over do it that looks youthful...blend it well with your fingers. Sometimes I top it with a little powdered blush to reduce the gold appearance. I think something is better than nothing approach..give it a try..not expensive, might be just the lift your complexion needs..you can always remove it and gift to a friend or daughter...if you aren't happy with the results..it's makeup not rocket science..have some fun

I want to incorporate using highlights in my makeup routine. I have oily skin so I just want a soft natural glow, not glittery shine, on my face. During my research I saw so many recommedations for the Murumuru Butter Highlighter so I decided to give it a try when Amazon has such a great deal on it. I got it in rose gold and it is exactly what I wanted - subtle, rosy soft hihlights. It's especially pretty under the sun. It really does go on buttery smooth and I love the coconut smell, but it maybe too much for people who don't like coconut, so be warned. (Their butter bronzer is also a total winner but used together would turn you into a walking coconut lol!) I do wish the container is less bulky, but it doesn't affect the product. Highly recommend if you don't mind the smell of coconut.

didn't realize it had a strong vanilla scent that I can smell for a while... doesn't seem to be noticed by others(asked a couple of close friends). didn't notice no brush.. nice color and case ... good product if you expected this.. will use but won't buy again

I'm a fan of the PF Butter Bronzer so when I found out they were making highlighters I was thrilled. These definitely live up to my expectations! The scent is very much like the bronzer. Texture is the same soft powder. The color is lovely, I've been wanting a rose gold shade for a while. I'm 38, Irish, fairskinned and freckled with hazel eyes and this shade works for my cool toned complexion. It lasts a decent amount of time without rubbing off or fading. Most importantly it doesn't settle into lines or crack in weird places on my face which is essential when you're trying *not* to look your age lol 😉

Could use a tiny bit more pigment, but I think it's a very nice highlighter. Looks great on my pale redhead skin, and has a nice feel. I'm in my later 60's so I keep a very light touch, just to look a bit glowing, not a dried up old hag. I think this is a good product for all ages (past puberty!), and I recommend it.

This item is beautiful! A highlight color I didn’t own. My skin tone is more of light/medium w/yellow undertone (Latina Lady) . Great highlight for someone with a tan / darker complication. Product is a cream to powder texture & stays put in the face. Try applying w/your finger. I feel it works best applying with finger then brush for blending.
