I like the color here. It’s flattering and gives a subtle glow. I have a fair complexion, aging dry skin with lots of laugh lines around the eyes. If I’m not careful the powder will settle into the lines a bit. The scent makes me think of a tropical vacation. Some people might not like that, but, I don’t mind it at all. I’d be fine if it was unscented too. The packaging is where they lose me altogether. It’s bulky and takes up way too much room in my bag. I’d much rather have something more compact (isn’t that what we use to call these things? Compacts? ) Maybe they should dump the included brush and eliminate that lower compartment (I’ve never used the included brush. It just gets tossed. What a waste of space and plastic) ... show more

This smells so good - reminds me of a beach day in summer. I love the color and it applies easily. However, the color does not last long but that could be a user error issue since I’m not a professional with make up.

    • Why Is There Perfume In This Blush?

I have been using Physicians Formula products for probably decades now. Never an issue. I got the Butter Believe It Blush in Pink Sands to try. So I open it and get a strong smell like sunscreen at the beach. This is blush. Facial makeup should not smell like a body spray. I tried it anyway despite the strong smell. Within 10 minutes my face started to feel hot and itchy. Within 15 I was running to the bathroom to wash it off. Apparently I am allergic to the "fragrance/parfum" in this blush. My cheeks are still beet red and hot. I had trusted Physicians Formula to be safe to put on my skin. They have lost all cred with me now and I hesitate to purchase anything else from them. Another review stated this really is too light for a blush, so I use it as a face powder. Best powder I ever used. I have A cool skin tone so almost everything looks yellow on me. This is perfect. It just gives me a very very faint hint of pink. It does not cake or clot in wrinkles. It last all day and the best part is I'm constantly getting compliments about my skin. At my age, I love it.
