One of the most important things to note regarding this foundation is that you must shake it up really really good. If the product comes out and it's runny then you need to shake some more. You have to do this every single time you use it. One more thing of importance is that it DOES have fragrance. The fragrance is not light but not excessive. It's a moderate level of fragrance. If you like the smell of the butter bronzers then you will like this. I bought the shade light and After wearing this for several days in a row I have decided that it is one of my favorites. The coverage is medium full to completely full... it is also long wearing but not completely transfer proof but it still does good even while wearing a mask. I have combination skin and it does great on my type. I've worn it with and without primers and they both look and wear equally good. The consistency is a bit thick but that's not a bad thing. It's not greasy and I've not had any breakouts. I've used my fingers and a beauty blender and a brush to apply this and they all work well but my favorite is using a brush. Make sure that you don't use too much product because if you do, it can become slightly cakey and it's easy to do with this foundation. Start out with a small amount. I did have a small amount of settling around my laugh lines but it wasn't a big deal at all because most foundations settle there on me. I haven't noticed any oxidation at all. It is not matte but not dewy either... It's kind of a satin finish that you can either set with powder or not. It has enough coverage that you absolutely do not need concealer. This shade light is almost too light for me. If it wasn't the winter time then I don't think I would be able to wear this shade... If I bronzer it's not noticable. I would like to see what the "light medium" shade looks like at some point. I wish they hadca better shade range so everyone could use it. Keep in mind that this light shade was almost too light for. Here are some examples of the other shades I wear in other brands just got reference. If you are a lightish medium you may need to get the light medium shade... especially in the summer. Hopefully someone finds this useful Additional info: In the maybelline fit me line I wear 118. L'oreal infallible fresh wear 420 and 425. In flower beauty light illusion I wear L3. In wet n wild photo focus I wear soft beige. Revlon color stay 180. Colourpop pretty fresh 50w. Maybelline super stay 118. Neutrogena healthy foundation LN3. Catrice 030 sand beige. Missha bb 23. LIKES: the foundation feels creamy and soft on the skin. It is lightweight but only because i don't use a lot of the product on my face. If you were to use a lot then i feel like this product would feel cakey and thick on the skin, but luckily, using a little bit of the foundation is enough coverage for my face. I find that it does last & look decent for a long period of time. I also like how this foundation has a pump. DISLIKES: i don't like the smell too much. It has a buttery scent to it. It does not smell bad but the scent is not for me. I also don't like that this foundation gives me a matte finish since i prefer a more dewy look but this is not a big deal , just a nit pick. FINAL THOUGHTS: i like this foundation. i think it's a good foundation for daily use. i find that this product offers a medium buildable coverage depending on how much of it you use.

This is the most natural looking foundation I’ve ever used!! It blends in so well so that it actually looks like I have no makeup on yet covers very well. In addition I love that it has good ingredients for my skin and removed of harmful chemicals! The bonus is the most delightful clean scent which is subtle & not overpowering! I sure hope it stays around for awhile❗️❗️👌👌👌👌👌💜

Didn’t for for me but I have very uneven skin tone and the product was great. Had great color and coverage and smelled wonderful. Just wasn’t the right fit for me.

I just got this product today. My first time using it. I tried it on. It matches my shade perfectly. I personally prefer that as I don’t contour. I chose this over just a concealer and was happy I did. The product is very light. I don’t feel like i have it on. It hid my racoon eyes better than the use of 2 other products. I was surprised for the price. I’m keeping this. My shade was deep cool and I’m completely happy.

I decided to give this Physician’s Formula foundation since trying and falling in love with the butter glow concealer. I am thoroughly impressed. To start off, I’m 42 so my skin is maturing. I also have oily skin. This foundation is creamy and full coverage. A little goes a long way. I found it dried down perfectly and was long wearing. There was a little bit of the product breaking up in my t zone but even high end products do that for me. I highly recommend giving this foundation a try. I think it’s my new drug store go to.

I bought the light (I’m usually medium tones), only got light because I went by their color chart, but it’s many shades lighter than it appears online. I’m going to buy the medium tone and will have to blend both. One thing for certain: DO NO APPLY WITH HANDS. Please use a good quality blending sponge. I find that using my hands left this cakey, dry, too thick, unflattering and wasteful! A blending sponge will help with absorbency and blend as well as distribution and you’re not wasting it by getting it all over hands, (which is extremely hard to wash off), perhaps I did not shake the bottle enough? Additionally, it will stain your towels so beware! ! I will shake it a lot more next time and fill try blending both light and medium. I looked like a geisha! Thankfully I had bronzer to assist.

I love Physician's Formula products. I love the Butter Believe It translucent powder. As stated in other reviews, this is not light or fair. I have been wearing light or fair foundations for literally decades and this isn't it. It goes on kind of greasy and shiny. It does settle down but I also use powder over it. It honestly looks like something you would get from 1980's Maybelline or the Dollar Tree. Still a fan of Physician's Formula but I will stick with Neutrogena Age Perfector BB cream in Fair to Light.
