I used these as under cabinet lighting and it looks amazing (P.S. if u have an outlet for a fan or microwave about ur stove and can drill a hole or two everyone should do this) only very small complaints is something I would go to peel the backing off of the adhesive, but I would pull the adhesive off of the light strip. ... show more

I bought this to put in the ceiling of my parents' bedroom. They are seniors with diminishing eyesight and because the ceiling is dark the room always seems dimly lit even with LED pendant lights. I was hoping it would be brighter but it at least seems to illuminate the room nicely. The 15m comes is divided into two lengths so you have to plan carefully. The only thing I don't like is that the y connector with dimmer switch is attached at the end of the wall adapter. This limits you in where to place it if you want full use of the dimmer switch - it has to be at arm's reach, so if you have a high ceiling then a good portion of the light is lost. They should have probably given you three feet of wire from the dimmer switch to the LED strips. I lost at least 4 feet because of the height of the ceiling (about 15' or more at peak) and the need to put the dimmer switch where it can be reached. The pack doesn't come with any clips - I might put in later if it looks like the glue will not hold. ... show more

These are 24v. If you are going to use them in a boat/rv/auto they will not work. Seller seems unconcerned about applications and don't even bother marking them. You have to look at the power supply they send with it. Returning. Update. Sellers should add an educational disclaimer so we can plan our projects accordingly. Here’s a quick reference guide for you to follow: 12V DC LED strip longest length is 16ft (5 metres). 24V DC LED strip longest length is 32ft (10 metres). 24V Constant Current (CC) LED Strip is 65ft (20 meters). 120V LED Strip maximum length is 164ft (50 meters). 24V RGB & RGBW maximum run lengths are 23ft (7 metres). 24V RGBCC & RGBWCC maximum run lengths are 50ft (20 metres). ... show more
