This tripod works for what I needed, which was zoom calls from my desk. But, foe anything beyond that it would be a challenge. A few things that could be better are: 1. Sturdiness - the legs are thin and take work to get the stand set up, especially with the weight of the phone and case. I worry if I touch the phone once it’s propped, it will fall. - But that sleek design is what makes it more compact and it folds up very fast. Easy to store in a purse or even wristlet. 2. It doesn’t extend at all. Which is find for my needs. But, due to the sturdiness issue it would be hard to prop it up on things as well. The surface has to be leveled. - On a positive note, it swivels and the clamp holds the phone tightly. It’s a good tripod and well made, but if you’re needing something more sturdy or for lots of repositioning, this wouldn’t be the one.

The media could not be loaded. I was in need of a new mini tripod and this one definitely fits the bill. It is much more sturdy than my last one. Affordable, very easy to use, doesn't take up space on your desk and fits easily in your bag, purse or pocket. I use it for YouTube videos and selfies.

This is actually the second one of these I've bought, as I lost one on a trip. It's super compact, and easy to have on hand. The ability to separate at the middle and use the top as a phone cradle on a standard tripod or the bottom for a low-angle shot with a DSRL is awesome. No complaints.

At first, this tripod made me angry because it came folded up and for some reason, mine was incredibly stiff and difficult to unfold. I actually broke my nail from opening the phone holder part. I also don’t like that it doesn’t angle. So you have to adjust yourself and the height of the phone on this device to get yourself in view. This tripod does not like phone cases. Especially not if you have a larger iPhone version. Super pain that I have to take my case off every time to use this. For such a small and simple tripod, this should not have made me as frustrated as it did. Now the upside is, I like the adjustable height and once my phone case is off, this thing works great and fairly sturdy. I do still have a bit of an issue when it’s folded up. Maybe I got one that’s difficult to open or something. I can’t imagine every reviewer had this same experience.

I needed just a simple tripod to go on my desk on the counter to hold my phone upright and this checked all the boxes. You can have it landscape vertical it goes up and down and the folds up super small and compact. It's perfect for filming videos, watching videos on my phone, having facetime calls. It's easy to throw in my purse and car to take on the go. I have used it actually a lot more than I thought and have really liked just having a stand for my phone! I have used this product for a few weeks now and really like it! Highly recommend!

For the cost, this is a remarkable little gadget to keep in your bag, tech pouch, etc. It folds up perfectly and has proven to be incredibly stable thus far (even with a larger phone like the iPhone 12 Pro Max). WISHLIST: I only wish it could [a] extend a little higher to accommodate a standing position on a standing desk, [b] pivot forward as well as backward, and [c] feature an easier push-button release to 'grab' and 'release' the phone — similar to some phone car mounts that are out there. BTW, I almost missed out on its ability to pivot backward because I was afraid I was going to break something. It does do that well — see accompanying pictures. Not sure what angle it is though. Again, great purchase. I *highly* recommend it for quick video calls at your desk, vlogging, etc.
