I bought an earlier version of this same set which I found to be a good bargain for entry-level phone lenses - they took good pictures and were easy to use after a little experimentation. One of my children was in the market for lenses so I gave them mine and sought another for myself. In the meantime, the company had put together an upgrade so I decided to try again. It was well worth it. The telephoto lens casing is now metal, the attachment clip is more secure and sturdier and they included a padded travel case to protect everything. The lenses were all of the same high quality and take excellent pictures. (You can try to use them over a very thin case but I had the best success with it off my Galaxy S9+. It's a small concession to get the pictures you really want.) As an added bonus, they once again offered an extra gift with the purchase - selfie stick or car mount Topping that was their customer service. I had an initial issue with the entry-level set which I shared with them. The representative was prompt, pleasant and most importantly, helpful. Honestly, it's what made me consider buying another set from them and I am happier for it. You can spend an endless amount of money on lenses but for the overall quality and price, I've recommended this set to friends and family. ... show more

The lenses are to small and very bad to focus with the phone camera. And my phone does better a zoom then the telescoping lens

The lens is not easy to mount to your phone...forget trying to put it on and take a picture quickly!!!...if you don't have it centered over your lens on your phone PERFECTLY it will never take a proper photo!! It also clips onto my phone so tightly that it makes it malfunction!! And forget the highest power zoom...it NEVER FOCUSES PROPERLY!! ... show more

It comes with some lens, but also a small tripod and remote trigger I will use both to make photos in my travels. It has a macro lens, an fisheye (nice effect), and a wide angle lens; I will use wide angle lens to make selfies and capture more contextual of the place I am visiting. Those are good for amateur or cassual use, I think for professional use you should use more complex lens, and maybe you will be using a camera instead of phone. There are little distortions in the image, but are unnoticiable or not affect the use (anyway, the phone camera lens already has distortions at the corners and edge) I didnt try yet the CPL lenses, but learn that it could reduce reflections in water or glass photo shots, it's like a polarized lens effect, and I will try it as well, (I didnt see that lens type before in other kits). The grip is good, first I think it will not fit my S7 phone, but then I figure that the lens thread will move in a rail to acomodate. You should center it before put lens, and also after put lens be sure to re-focus your camera. If shotting with 20X telescope, be sure to use tripod because small movements (even like your heartbeat) in your hand could prevent the shot to be steady and clear. It comes with a little throubleshotting guide, that helps to understand how to use it correctly and in an efficient way; and also with a very convenient case, that looks very professional. in brief, as an amateur user, I am very pleasant with this adquisition. ... show more

The product is okay - but honestly, it didn't make my pictures look better. I have an iphone 11 pro max, and the clip wouldn't even fit right on the phone. I couldn't take any pics with my case on. It's a good buy if you have a small phone maybe and if you just want a fish eye lens. Otherwise, nothing that great in terms of quality of pictures. ... show more

    • Versatile, affordable, good results
I have been very happy with my purchase. This set is inexpensive but the capability it provides to my phone is creatively pleasing. It fits my iphone 8 and works well for interesting photographs. I don't think it would be rigidly connected well enough for dynamic videos but that was not my purpose. For an amateur, this is a perfect balance of quality and cost. In addition to the lenses, it comes with a tripod. The tripod is not as sturdy as I would like but its still useful. It all comes in a carrying case and I am looking forward to using it more when I get to travel again! I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend for casual, creative, and cost conscious expansion of your regular phone photography. ... show more

Does not work as described. Clip does not work well holding the lens. Plastic screw to level the mount to the phone feel as if it will strip after a few uses. Telephoto lens is nice, yet, not truly compatible to the iPhone 11. All lenses gave a halo artifact on the image. With our without the phone case. Zooming would remove it or editing in the end would. Yet image quality was better without the lenses altogether. Not what I was looking for. Have seen others that work much better. Only items that worked was the remote shutter, and the phone grip. Tripod was fair. Great idea, poor execution . ... show more
