Good lights overall, spectrum good. Purchased same product 2 different times Jan2024 and Mar2024. one product was way better compared to the other. Different parts and on one item. the dimmer knob is junk. pics showing: off, clicked to on(no emitting light) & dialed to just pass #2 and light turn on. And the light turns off when trying to set to lowest setting. the other light with the silver ballast is 100% good, dimmer knob and all. Note: these cannot be tethered together, need seperate outlets and set dimmer knob seperate.

I measured it at 140 degrees at level 10. Led lights won't last long at these Temps. I am using a little usb fan and Temps stay at 95 degrees which is a lot better for led health. Great light though, saw a huge improvement. I have had it for a couple weeks and just bought another one. Added more pics I took a couple weeks after the first. All my plants are thriving, especially the fan keeps everything cool. Got two total, may get another. The daisy chain works. I have one on a timer and other one daisy chained. They turn on and shut off together. Should have fruit next week!

This board comes in $100 cheaper than the equivalent spiderfarmer and it’s gonna blow everything I’ve used in its pricepoint out of the water. These are authentic lm301b’s and the spectrum is dialed in perfectly. I have grown with led’s since they became a thing and I cycle through a lot of different amazon and alibaba lights. From experience, I can tell right away when the spectrum is off on a new light. Anything with the cheaper smd diodes I find inadequate and I have a couple alibaba lights with authentic 301b’s that cause weird bud growth cuz the spectrum is off. The viparspectras and mars hydros are fine for veg but they do not compete with proper quantum boards like this. Nothing I found on amazon at this wattage With authentic Samsung chips came in this cheap. The board runs very cool. It’s cooler than everything I own if I’m being honest. The lack of heat sinks isn’t a factor since the board is very thin. Don’t let that be a turn off cuz this board has excellent manufacturing. The dimmer doesn’t turn the light off but you’ll be connecting this to a timer anyways so who cares. Where you’re saving money is on the driver but I’d rather cut corners there than on the diodes. I argue boards this size don’t need the more expensive meanwell drivers. Sure, you could probably eek out a little more power or efficiency but that’s negligible for this size application. I hope this is going to be the game breaker I expect it to be. Everyone else is gonna have to lower their prices or use better chips to compete if this board becomes popular. The new vivosun with 301bs looks good too but it only comes in a little 100w. I expect the new vivosun and these phlizon boards to be the ones that shake things up for the next year.

Great light that really does promote excellent plant germination and growth. I have purchased 6 over the past 9 months and all have been excellent and continue to provide great service. They run cool and have provided excellent results. Stringing them together with with the ethernet cord is convenient The most recent light I purchased came with the ethernet cable but doesnt have a port to plug it into. Complained and the mfg replied that design has been updated and daisy chain feature deleted though prominently advertised in listing at the time.

These are very bright lights and perfect for my seedlings. They have great coverage. I have mine on the ceiling because they are so bright my adult plants leaves started curling. Its weird because they are only 20 inches above my 1 to 3 month old seedlings and they love it. So far they are the best I have found for the price. I have not noticed a big difference in my electric bill and Im running 8 lights all day every day on high. My plants seem to do better under the lights than in full sun. The bonus thermometer is really nice. You can set it to warn you when humidity or temps get above a certain range. I grow Desert Roses aka Adeniums to sell. Update: I still love the lights but so far 3 out of 9 ordered have been defective. Two of them either stay on or turn on alone and the third just quit working period. After looking at it more closely I can see where the aluminum piece on the top had been removed and installed incorrectly. It was hanging on by two pieces of plastic screws. Had it not been sitting on the top it would have broke. I am sure I got a refurbished light. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to have them right now or my seedlings can die or get stunted. Just one light less is a huge difference. Now I have to wait who knows how long for a replacement.

They got back to me sent me out a replacement in no time. Light grows extremely well. The little 100 watt light put out a qp at 24 inches. These lights are worth the money.
