Whatever you do, do not buy this. I am not some karen that just hates on cheap things for no reason, but genuinely listen to this review and don't buy this. These unironically split in half and started to melt making my engine misfire. I was in the same place you are at right now not wanting to spend $150+ on ignition coils and spark plugs, but it is so worth it. These ignition coils worked for 2 months and then caused my engine to misfire. Less then 3k miles and they failed. Everyone always says not to cheap out on ignition coils and spark plugs and I didn't listen and I learned my lesson. Truly do not buy these. Go on Rock Auto and get you bosch ones and they are like $35 each but they will last you years. These were a complete waste of money, and if I could go back in time and never buy these I would do it in a heart beat. These are not good dude. Seriously don't, spend a little bit more and avoid this hastle. I have a mini cooper 2017 sport, and I like to keep up with maintence at an affordable price, but don't cheap out on spark plugs and ignition coils, get ngk spark plugs and bosch ignition coils, spend like $150-$160 and you wont have to worry about it for 5 years. You will have to replace this ignition coils every 2 months. ... show more

Have not installed yet, so will update regarding performance. However, each of the spark plugs was gapped incorrectly. 1 was too large, 3 were too small. Spent some time spreading the gap on 3 of them, which is tedious to do without damaging the electrode. The coils look to be of quality materials, except that the connectors inside the sleeves are not straight. Obviously, there is play, so they will slide over the plug, but I would be very gentle when installing and removing so as not to mangle the spring which slides over the terminal. Genuine Hyundai parts are roughly $600, so I guess it's worth the extra care you have to take to save that money. If you're planning on running your car another 75-100K miles, I'd get genuine. If you're well over 100K already, these will do fine as long as you take the care to check each plug, and install correctly. ... show more
