Aight -- this thing is undeniably fun. We were going to put it up in the den area of our condo, but when we realized it was adhesive hooks, well we didnt want to destroy the paint job when we get annoyed with this thing. Speaking of which, it is LOUD. Of course, we live in an apartment building so we have to be much more cognizant of noise. But darn, this thing is jarring. If a shot is not 10000% pure nothing but air, if it glances off the bracket attaching the rim to the backboard, it will make a legit racket. I could not stop taking shots (im 47) for like 15 minutes from all over my daughters room this was so fun. That said, I think playing about 10 minutes at a time is the limit Im going to have to set to avoid noise complaints. If you live in a house and want to stick this in the basement, that will work. Anywhere within earshot, you ... will ... get ... annoyed. it actually sounds louder than being in the gym, but maybe thats cause well we are not in a gym but are hearing gym decibel noises. Even with the door closed and having hot glued the bottom of the backboard to the door (that adhesive is going to ruin the door anyways) its still noisy -- before affixing the bottom, it was literally unbearable even while I was enjoying hitting threes from the closet!!! ... also, before hot gluing, the entire backboard moved on EVERY shot. So not sure I can recommend this especially as I know Im not taking it down, and I know my daughter and I will play daily, and I know I will get noise complaints! HA. Love of the game, man. Other sundry items that might help you decide -- our balls were all different sizes. it's not about inflation/pressure, they are just different sizes. Our rim was bent. Again, those sticky pads mean to cushion the backboard dont really reduce movement or noise substantially. The net comes off every few shots. our adhesive pads had a cute little bunny and some minimal trees on them -- I thought they were like bonus items manufacturers sometimes throw in until I checked the listing again. So, uh, glad this was for my daughter, not that brahs dont like bunnies and Japanese wood block print styled trees. So yeah, not sure I would buy this knowing the limits of the experience -- but we'll use it. Also, maybe this will just help teach my kid to shoot perfectly -- dont even skim the backboard, at all, ever, or the old man from upstairs will come rip the hoop of your door. Ha. Like I said totally torn.

My boys are 4 and 7 and they love that they get to play basketball in their room. It's not top-notch quality, but it's sturdy enough to so far withstand two rowdy little boys and was cheap enough that if they break it, it's not a big deal. The balls keep air well, so far we haven't had to blow them up more than once. Happy with this purchase for what it's used for.

This was something my son wanted for his room, and given that this was designed for indoor use, I decided we could definitely try it out. It was super simple to set up and did not damage the door whatsoever putting it up..I hope it does not leave a mark when we take it down. It also has many lightweight balls which do not damage anything and are light enough not to likely cause anything like a lamp to get toppled or a cat/dog to get hurt at all if a stray ball were to bounce on or near them (throwing any ball near our dog definitely runs the risk that our dog mistakes it for playtime and will lunge at all balls being tossed! :) But the part that hangs on the door itself is not super sturdy..I would be shocked if this lasted longer than 6 months. I will update my review if it does, but for now I am cautiously hopeful about it, but would not recommend this without reservations about the longevity.

This is a decent gift idea for a younger child. It comes with 6 balls, the net, a pump for the balls and all the mounting hardware. When using the adhesive mount, it will not withstand dunking, but does stay up when the ball is thrown. Overall, this is a good gift for a younger child. It is very easy to assemble and mount onto any flat surface.

I like that this hoop set comes with 6 mini basketballs 2 different colors and an very sturdy and thick balls.. This goes to say I thought the backboard was a bit flimsy and the pump broke right away and had to find another way to pump up the balls . I can see this not lasting very long when my son plays with it.
