Went for my dental appointment and my dental hygienist was amazed hardly any plaque on my teeth. Good quality toothbrush I just love it. Buy one try it. You won’t regret it. It’s worth every penny. • Latest and greatest but still a toothbrush
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
Alright, I admit, this one is better than my previous three electric tooth brushes. I definitely do feel like it simply scrapes more gunk off my teeth than the previous ones. I think that trumps anything else I can say about it. I think it makes this a 5 star product. But saying that, it's hard to be terribly excited about it. It's the latest and greatest, not a miracle. I did get this particular toothbrush off the recommendation of my dentist because the battery powered Oral-B electric tooth brush I was using previously wasn't doing enough for my oral health. And I feel like it has lived up to the requirements there. It does seem to be giving me back what I put into it. Battery life seems excellent. With all those positives, I have to say, it's still an electric toothbrush. I like that it is colored black instead of an ugly tooth enamel white but it is still the same basic shape as my previous rechargeables. It's definitely better, even the best, but it's still the same general product. It's hard to feel like it is an epic upgrade instead of just the latest model. It's still the same car, not a ferari. So, adjust your expectations accordingly. I definitely do like the travel case when I'm traveling. But it's sized for this brush so it's kind of big. It's slightly larger than any of my glasses cases. So it's a somewhat annoying space waster when I'm not traveling. I also am not particular sure why it is shaped the way it is. It is meant to carry the body separate from the head and has two spaces for two different heads but so far as I'm able to tell, there's no particular way to distinguish one brush head from the other. Which leaves the negatives to talk about. So far I've been obeying the instructions on how to clean it but the cleaning instructions are finicky and more work than I want to do. All of my prior electric toothbrushes had the toothbrush head snap on tight so nothing would get into the gap. The gap between head and body of this tooth brush is substantial for a product made in the last few years. There is plenty of room for things to leak inside. Additionally, the instructions for care specifically say to watch out for that and clean it in a way to compensate. That seems like bad design to me. I am not happy about that. I also recall two toothbrushes ago, which was a completely comparable product, coming with a little colored ring that would help cover the gap and allow you to mark which head was yours so two people could hygienically share one toothbrush body. So this seems like a step back in that regard. Especially since it makes a point of saying you should take it apart to clean the pieces separately each time anyway. I am having trouble imagining myself keeping up the recommended cleaning regimen over the long term. At which point, I don't know how well it will keep exceeding my previous brushes. The two buttons for controlling the functions of the tooth brush are not easy to tell apart and are not particularly intuitive. I'm mostly just hitting a button and deciding that will do. That speaks to the power of the brush, which is great. Whatever it does by default is better than what I was doing on purpose before hand but it also means I don't have any particular idea how to get the most out of the toothbrush since it is supposed to be doing more than what I am doing in terms of adjusting the functionality for different dental health tasks. It'll do but I'm pretty sure it is keeping me from being blown away by it. Finally, my biggest gripe is how the timer works. The toothbrush is set for two minutes. At the end of two minutes it simply stops. It doesn't do some kind of extra buzz or other alert. It just shuts off. Dead. The first few times I thought I had pressed one of the buttons by accident since it is very easy to do with the placement of them. But no, that's how it is programmed to work. It's a tiny motion to turn it back on. Like I said, those buttons are easy to press. But it feels obnoxious in the same way as having to interact with AI everywhere. I don't want the machine to do that work o deciding when to shut off, that's my job. In the end, I would say, if you're going to be buying a new electric tooth brush anyway, buy this one. But I don't particularly think everyone should rush to replace what they've got with this game changer. 5 stars good, not your life will fundamentally change amazing. ... show more

  • My favorite brand of Electricd Toothbrush!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Navy Blue
I purchased the Phillips Sonicare 6500 Electric toothbrush to replace a prior Sonicare that had suddenly started having problems shutting off and turning itself on repeatedly. The unit was at least five years old and was dependable until the day it failed. This time I purchased the blue model which I must say is very attractive. Upon the first use of the new toothbrush, I released the old one must have been having problems for at least six months as it had gotten very noisy during use while the new one was extremely quiet. I am a fan of the Phillips Sonicare line of toothbrushes as my teeth feel so clean after brushing with it. Replacement brush heads are easy to find, and Phillips offers a models that range form a very basic electric toothbrush all the way up to ones that offer an array of brushing modes and Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. I like the 6500 series as it's a good combination of features at a medium price point. In addition, this model included a travel case that includes the ability to recharge your toothbrush when traveling. I've been using Sonicare electric toothbrushes for over 20 years now after my dentist at the time recommended it and said it was the one he used personally. I add my recommendation as well! ... show more

  • Cannot recommend this if it’s going to fail in a short time (Please read update)
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Pink
I bought this in October of 2024. I have another Phillips brush as well, so I don’t use this one every day. That said, a few months back, I noticed it making a loud noise and the brush head was loose. I replaced the head with a Phillips replacement, only to realize the actual toothbrush is defective. The area where you insert the brush head is loose and feels like it’s going to fall out. I would not recommend this expensive Sonicare brush. I am disappointed and cannot find info about the warranty. Update: I found the warranty information online and contacted Philips. Within a day, they got back to me, and within a few weeks, I received a newer model of this toothbrush. I am impressed. I am happy to update my rating as the company took care of this since it was still under warranty. Obviously, others had a similar issue with this model. I am glad that Philips addressed this and sent me a newer updated version. Hopefully, this one will last and work like it should. ... show more

Whole family uses this type of toothbrush. Has plenty of power to get the plaque of your teeth as well as a couple different settings, beneficial if you are using whiting toothpaste.
