  • Must use the provided charger
Wow. Amazing 'lithium' batteries. I have a SkyRC multiple chemistry battery charger. however, because of the way these cells are designed, you cannot use a standard lithium chemistry charger. There is an inverter circuit built into these batteries to fix the terminal voltage at 1.5 volts. I did not know this when I purchased. However, the charger that the batteries come with are sufficient to charge the cells, and designed specifically for thus unique battery design. They seem like a good value nonetheless. Let's see how well they perform over multiple charge/discharge cycles. ... show more

  • Very nice.
Batteries arrive uncharged, so you must first charge them. The case is nicely designed. The batteries work well after charging. This is a major change-over for me. So far, so good.

  • Overpriced Rebranded Generics??? -- Buyer caution ahead!
I purchased these Philips AAA rechargeable batteries expecting premium quality from a trusted brand, but they appear to be rebranded generics with no discernible advantages. Why pay double (or more) when comparable options exist? These batteries match specs from budget brands like Imuto, Batzone, and similar off-brands: all Intertek-certified for safety, with identical performance. The cell model (AAA361) lists a rated capacity of 780mAh and 1170mWh, yet the outer sticker claims 1300mAh – a common marketing inflation tactic. The included charger has a slightly different exterior but otherwise mirrors those from the generics. I anticipated superior longevity or build from Philips, but early tests show no difference. Even with a coupon, the premium pricing feels unjustified. Awarding 3 stars for basic functionality; I'll update in a few months with long-term reliability data. Shoppers: Opt for verified generics to stretch your budget without compromise. Good luck! ... show more

  • Good option for AAA-powered flashlights
I bought this to power a few flashlights. I have had problems with aaa.nimh batteries with these flashlights as the batteries would run down and not charge effectively after a few uses. I have no issues with the longevity of AA nimh for most of my other devices, Just the aaa variety seem to not last that long before they go bad I like that these are constant 1.5v which keeps the light at maximum brightness. Time will tell if they last but so far, so good. The price is high for these so that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars ... show more

  • 3 sets of these and so many bad batteries!
Terrible. I had to change my review again. I ordered 3 of these now and each set had either a bad battery or two or had more batteries go bad after only ONE CHARGE. Thank God I can return these sets. I also ordered 16 imuto AAA’s with charger and I’ve now cycled them five times with NO issues. Get the imuto’s, they are cheaper and they work great! ... show more
