    • SKIP STEP 1 IN THE INSTRUCTION PICTURES!!

These chairs are quite comfortable and seem well constructed. PLEASE pay attention to the customer review that stated SKIP STEP 1!! We had forgotten that advice and my husband had secured the base pedestals to the chair bottoms, then had to reverse his work and completely dismantle the base from the seat. There was no place to put the stem while attaching the arms to the back and seat. So, SKIP STEP 1!!! You will go back to Step 1 after you have finished the other steps. Overall, we are happy with the purchase. We had some patio chairs that came with our table several years ago, but two of them had split along the sides of the seat and needed to be replaced. Knowing the other two original chairs would likely give out soon, we purchased four of the new chairs. No regrets except for the goofed-up assembly! ... show more

Surprisingly 2 chairs came in 1 box! Directions were short and sweet. Assembly was relatively quick. The end result was a good looking chair that rocks a tiny bit and swivels. Very comfortable chairs. Be careful tightening hardware, bolts snap easily and are a bear to remove. Upside: you get an extra of each individual hardware item, including Allen wrenches.

    • Difficult to put together/watch the video first

This review is only for product assembly. (P.S. The paper instructions are different from the video instructions. I followed the video instructions cause they made more sense )It’s been three hours and I still don’t have one chair completely put together. They don’t tell you not to tighten the sides all the way down because then it’s impossible to get the back on cause it’s a blind screw in. customer service at the phone number is not available for three days so when you want to put something together on the weekend like most people, you can’t do it. they tell you you can send an email but they said 24 hours by that time you’re back to work . I would suggest two people because they’re heavy and awkward. I’m fairly sure I will love the chairs once they are put together but getting them together has been a nightmare so I have to stop have a friend come over and hope he can help me. not enjoying the assembly one bit !!! This is an update from two hours ago. The chairs are together and on my patio. I love them once they’re put together as I expected. very comfortable great swivel. Also rocks, a little better than I thought once put together I would give them five stars, but cannot do better than three because of the terrible assembly instructions and lack of quick customer service ... show more

I was super impressed with these chairs. They were packed well, reinforcement on the corners and well padded within. But the MOST impressive thing to me was, they included extra hardware for every different piece it took to put them together, thus eliminating the most frustrating moment when you realize they shorted you a part.
