I wanted a blue accent color for my bedding that wasn't a true navy blue. The color name is navy blue but I would describe the blue as ever so slightly muted with I really like. The waffle pattern is a nice texture and still soft enough to lay your head on. The 20" x 26" size fits my standard pillows well. They're not snug but they're tailored enough so they don't look sloppy. The pillow cases have held up nicely after several washes. The color hasn't faded and there's been no shrinkage even though they're 100% cotton (and very soft). I paired the pillowcases with the waffle blanket in navy blue and they look really nice together.

One often doesn't know what color white a product advertised as "white" will be. This is a very bright, clean white, which is exactly what I needed. I have a white chenille bedspread with little chenille squares on it. These waffle weave shams go perfectly. The waffle weave is decorative and looks to me like it will hold up well. The back is a fairly thin cotton (for which I'm taking off one star). For a sham, I don't think this matters, especially for shams at this price point. The shams fit. I'm glad to have found these!

The media could not be loaded. I had purchased this because my other one had huge gaps in the corners and looked like a frat house pillow. This one leaves no gaps and it’s snug to the pillow giving it a much cleaner look. I said half, but the zipper actually goes across the length about 75% of the way so you do have to squish the sides in , which is good because that what makes it give the more “fitted” look. The zipper is sturdy and doesn’t feel like it will snap off while zipping like other ones I’ve purchased. The material is soft and of good quality. I purchased the neutral color and it does look like a creamy neutral. It pairs well with my green comforter and really gives my small space more character.
