  • Great case for a full Workstation/Data storage server
Style: CLOSE PANEL
I just built my 3D/CAD/Raid Storage/Video & photo editing workstation/Multi-media server using this case. This case comfortably fits 12 x 3.5” HDD for my 2 x Raid-5 sets. I still have spare space for future 11 x 2.5” SSD. For ventilation, I have 3x120mm fans in the front, 1x140mm fan in the back, 2x120mm fans at the bottom, and 3x120mm on top with the water cooler radiator. No temperature problem with any component. In summary, this case has everything I needed to have, good ventilation, high storage capacity, and plenty of internal space for future expansion. Cons: lacks of bay for CD/DVD/BR. If needed, it needs to be external ... show more

  • Large, Premium, Well Thought Out Case
Style: CLOSE PANEL
TLDR: Large Case with excellent features, plenty of space, and well-thought-out airflow options. Slightly disappointed by the lack of included fans but not a deal-breaker for me. I also wish they had included more hard drive trays as I had to buy extras when building, not realizing it only came with 4. General Use: - I bought this to replace a Corsair C70 that was about 9 years old and the rubber was starting to disintegrate, leaving hard drives stacked in the cages. All that I was looking for was good airflow, a quiet case, and lots of hard drive bays. This Phanteks hosts a home server running unraid and runs 24/7. Pros: - I really appreciated the size and thoughtfulness of the case. There is space for tons of cables, tons of devices, tons of hard drives, and SSD's. - Removable dust screens that are easy to access. - Foam padding around the removable sides of the case to really seal it up and make sure the air and dust come through the filters and fans. - Lots of space, enough for 2 PSU's, a vertical GPU mount option, plenty of fan, radiator, pump, or HDD configurations to meet your needs. - The seperated PSU and corresponding storage pocket cover ended up being really nice. It was something I didn't care about but once I had it, it was great to hide the fan controller in there with some extra cables for future HDD's. - Hidden around the back SSD's was a cool way to add more storage and a cleaner look. There is space for more HDD's or SSD's on the floor of the case as well. - Included cable management holes, straps, and channels were great! Cons: - No included fans - Not a ton of included hard drive trays. I believe there were 4 included and I bought the other 4. - The hard drive trays latch together and I really wish there was a way to stack the harddrive trays solid from top to bottom without the gaps between the pairs. I fooled around with it a little bit but feel like this would be accomplishable with some modding. However, it feels like they could've had it work from the factory without modification for very little effort. - The Expansion slots for PCI devices feels slightly off. My GPU is seated solidly but my network card fits loose. Not sure if it is the card, Mobo, or Case but it feels like it should slot more firm against the case on the rear. Overall, I really enjoy this case and it has been a huge improvement in temperatures, less noise, and more hard drive space for my home server. Additional Hard drive tray part number: PH-HDDKT_03 8x Noctua NF-P14s redux-1200 PWM, Quiet Fan, 4-Pin, 1200 RPM (140mm, Grey) for the case fans DEEP COOL FH-10 Integrated Fan Hub, Powering up to 10 Fans (3-pin Non-PWM or 4-pin PWM), Occupying only One 4-pin Motherboard Header Happy to answer any questions ... show more

  • Could be improved
Style: TEMPERED GLASS
This case is MASSIVE, I LOVE all the options and all the different features in this case. The biggest drawback for me was the lack of room to route cables on the solid metal side of the case (between the MOBO and the siding of the case you can take off). I found myself shoving cables in the case and having the GPU cables (from the PSU) pushing against the glass. Which has me searching for custom cables so they are more bendy and shorter. Also mine came with chipped glass but not a crazy big deal. It's covered when it's all closed up, that's the risk you take for shopping for something like this on Amazon. (It seemed to me the case could be slightly twisted? But I could also be crazy..) All in all, if you need extra room, this was a great case. I needed it for a 3090 and it was perfect. Perfect for a lot of hard drives also. Like holy crap you can put so many drives in there. ... show more

  • Best case I’ve ever used
Style: TEMPERED GLASS
First of all, this case is HUGE so if you don’t want a massive system, this isn’t for you. That being said, I don’t mind a huge PC (actually I think they look cool) so I love it. It’s incredibly easy to work in and has a ton of fan support, radiator support, great customization options, and just a fantastic case overall. I’ll probably never buy another case again unless Phanteks makes an Enthoo Pro 3. ... show more

Probably The Best case I have ever owned.

  • Very expansive case, plenty of room inside
Style: TEMPERED GLASS
It was relatively easy to build in this, the only disappointment was many of the screws. I had to use a screwdriver instead of my fingers, and on one some pliers, to remove them and then reinstall them. If they correct the issues with the screws in this case, and maybe add an additional 2 inches clearance above the motherboard at top, it would be the perfect case. With the cables going to the two 8-pin mobo connectors at the top, I am unable to mount a fan in that spot, 12cm or 14cm. ... show more

  • Well thought out large case
Style: CLOSE PANEL
Whether you're looking to build a dual system setup or power hungry dual PSU system this case has the space to fit everything. Space for up to 5 radiators. As is, depending on your layout there is room enough for a 360mm in the top, 480mm in the side, 480 or 420 in the front, 360 in the bottom (240 if you do dual system or PSU), and 120/140 in the rear with fans in push or pull configuration. If you're willing to mod the case and mount the radiators on the outside you can fit a 420 up top and do all your fans in push-pull. Layout for cable management is really nice. Excellent use of space and placement of attachment points. Building a 3-loop system- Loop 1 CPU- 2xD5 in serial running to 480 in the side and 240 in the bottom. Loop 2 GPUs- 2x D5 running in parallel to multiple cards, then combined to serial with a 3rd D5 and through 2x420. Loop 3 RAM/M2s- 2xD5 running in serial split to parallel the RAM and M2 drives through a 140 in the rear. Fans in push-pull configuration. Overall quality is good, but the thumbscrews were torqued down really hard and hard to seat properly when reinstalling. These could be better, but they could be a lot worse. Great case for any large build out of the box, and a case modder's dream. ... show more
