Pros, efficient, powerful, comes with (2) props 2 blade and 3 blade you can use as a backup. Cons, doesn't come with alligator clamps, the battery meter doesn't start to indicate anything untill my battery is down below 12.5 volts. The feet on the mounting screws will fall off, mine was rattling around in the box when I received it. Will occasionally run on high when turning from off position to #1 speed forward position. I know that sounds like a lot of cons but this thing is inexpensive in comparison to name brand trollers and it gets the job done. I have it on a 12' Jon boat. With a $100 group 29 everstart deep cycle battery from Walmart it will travel a little over 2 miles in fair weather conditions. My typical fishing excursions are 4 hrs long, working the banks of a 185 acre lake. I'm very happy with it for what I use it for. ... show more

And I will admit perfect for trolling and emergency if we rant out of gas lol. Anyways I will also say very very quiet we have used 17 times so far and I may take a picture next time to show some of the largemouth Bass we have pulled out of Novillo. Last time we were down there I had over a 5 day haul of (60) 4-7 lbs which ended yielding 330lbs of fillets and I do love my bass. Trip before getting this trolling motor only yielded 200lbs of fillets so almost twice the fish I highly recommend 👍 The 2 pics are the only ones I can find from trips with the trolling motor but my other phone if I find it I will ad more. ... show more

I am so pleased with this electric outboard that I bring my boating friends around to boast about it. I researched all the option that were offered on Amazon and the Pexmor came out as a clear winner. I got more thrust for my money and a couple of additional benefits that I like: An easy to see "fuel" gauge and two interchangeable props - one for speed and one for thrust. I got the 46 lb. thrust version which may be more than I need for my 9 foot aluminum dinghy in slack water, but which I appreciate when I have to go through tidal currents. The final factor that spoke for the Pexmor was that it was shipped without delay while other brands were not available for quite a while. The total cost of the engine and the Mighty Max battery was less than a new gas fueled engine, and now I don't have to spend money on fuel, don't have to pull a string to start and get a pleasantly quiet ride. ... show more

Got the 46lb. Very quite and powerful. 12ft canoe with 2 people and this thing moves. About 6.5 mph on hi. Low is around 2mph. Love the battery gauge on the handle. Doesn't extend out as much as I would like. Very nice and sturdy.
