the first and 5th chapters are FANTASTIC and do a great job of setting the stage for the game and bringing it to a close.......but chapters 2, 3 and 4 are unnecessarily stretched out and TERRIBLY written. they should have been condensed into one big middle chapter revolving around the heist and the players decision as to what they want to do with the gem (the gameshow or something else)....and less about silly drawn-out dialogues and character developments. there's no shame in making a game 3 chapters....less is more....because more sometimes is tragic lol. the game itself is an excellent production though. lots of customization, the vault lander battle game is cool and should be expanded on in the next game......and theres alot of interesting characters that were introduced but terribly underused. matter fact, Staple Face should be the STAR of the next game, she has UNLIMITED POTENTIAL in this franchise. message me if you need help writing it, i will Gladly write the entire script for $25,000 and im not joking at all. ... show more

This is not a typical Borderlands game with actual game play. This is a chapter-based narrative where you pick a character and choose what they say and what they do. My teenage son was so excited and then suddenly so disappointed. This is a pure money grab by the developer. And yes, I got fooled. I'll be paying better attention next time. ... show more

Nothing like the older game but least u get the older one. also for people who only play borderlands and never heard of the first tales it’s a story game like the walking dead and nothing like actual borderlands so don’t go into this thinking it is.

Those 2 star reviewers obviously didn’t read about the game before buying so thats on them not the game. The game is great. Fun story, just like the first and yes it is a narrative driven game. It has great acting, is funny, and has multiple endings. Kinda short but is a good ride!
