I love this peppermill. It's easily adjustable, when you fill it up it takes a LOT of peppercorns, and is easy to twist and grind. Pretty, too; I'd recommend heartily. Very quality product.

More consistent at the fine setting than the course, but it works and it's a pleasure to use. I'm very picky about the tools in my kitchen. I bought this to replace a similar looking pepper grinder I've had for probably 20 years. That one just came apart one day. It was given as a gift so I have no idea what the brand was. I keep it out on my counter to use to cook with so it has to be attractive. I found this one through some research. Honestly, it grinds the pepper so consistently no matter what level of grind you have it on. Much better than my last one. It also has 5 grind settings rather than just 3 that I typically see. If you only want very finely ground pepper, this may be a mill for you. However the grind size would not change to course (how I use pepper 90% of the time). I have been using this style mill all my life and am very familiar with how to change the grind size. (yes, I did read instructions to confirm how to change grind size as well) They put the clip, that holds the grind mechanism, on too tight and this prevents the adjustment of the grind. The clip was not adjustable with tools, so rather than risk voiding the warranty, I returned it. It is real pretty and the grind that it was set to is VERY fine. If it adjusted to course, I would be happy with it. (I gave it an extra star for being pretty) ... show more
