This Peugeot watch is much nicer in person than in pictures. It has a solid feel to it and looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The classic shape works for both dress and casual looks and the design on the watch face is subtle but adds an elegant touch compared to plain watch faces. The top side of the case has a nice curve to it while the underside that rests against your wrist is flat. Both are a polished stainless steel. The brown leather strap is croc embossed with light padding and tight, even stitching. So far, the Japanese quartz movement is keeping excellent time. Despite being billed as a man's watch, this was purchased for a woman and looks great, even on a smaller wrist (the case is smaller than many oversize ladies watches). I wasn't sure if the metal around the dial was too thick and would make the watch appear rather large and ostentatious, but, having the watch in hand, I think the proportions actually work well. The watch fits my medium sized wrist and is comfortable as well as looks good. The leather band is thicker and somewhat shorter than the bands on my other watches. It just fits when in the first hole. So far, the watch is keeping good time. All in all, well pleased. ... show more

It lasted just over 4 years, then it just stopped. But it had problems from the beginning. The back would suddenly fall off. I almost lost it twice. I resorted to using pliers to seal it better, the marks on the back are seen in photo. It's also quite cheaply made, the plastic housing also in the photo. I replaced the battery when needed, the last battery change was 2 months ago, now new batteries don't work. Buyer beware. I spent $60, I think a new watch should last longer than this did. ... show more
