- EASY STEP-IN DESIGN: Built with slightly rigid, abrasion-resistant webbing that holds its open shape, making it easier to step your foot into the loop without using your hands.
- ENHANCED COMFORT: The flat webbing construction distributes pressure better than thin cordage, offering superior comfort when wearing lighter footwear or climbing for extended periods.
- DOUBLEBACK ADJUSTMENT: Features a steel DoubleBack buckle that allows for quick, precise length adjustment to match your leg length and maximize the efficiency of your stride.
- SECURE ELASTIC KEEPER: Equipped with a height-adjustable elastic strap that cinches around the ankle or boot to keep the foot loop securely in place during ascent.
- DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Made from heavy-duty nylon webbing designed to withstand the abrasion of wall contact and the rigors of daily rope access or caving use.
Description
The Petzl FOOTAPE is an adjustable webbing foot loop designed for comfort and ease of use during rope ascents. Unlike ultra-light cord loops that can be flimsy, the FOOTAPE is constructed from abrasion-resistant nylon webbing. This strap is slightly rigid, allowing it to hold its shape for easy step-in without needing to bend down and open it with your hands. This is a huge advantage when moving efficiently up a rope. It attaches to the ASCENSION or BASIC handled ascender via a Maillon or carabiner. It features a fully adjustable DoubleBack buckle to set the length precisely, and a height- adjustable elastic keeper to secure your foot in the loop so it doesn't slip out during the climb. Specifications: Material: Nylon Webbing, Steel Buckle Weight: 65 g Adjustment: DoubleBack Buckle Compatibility: Petzl ASCENSION, BASIC Warranty: 3 Years
