This is a very cool niche sprayer. I love the fact that you get 100ft of hose on a reel. That's something you don't see on most sprayers. Overall it was simple to assemble. Simple to charge. Works exactly as it should. This sprayer, in my opinion, was designed for the homeowner with a couple acres, or a commercial nursery. It's best suited to stay on concrete. However, a home owner could place this in the middle of an acre and spray almost the entire acre without moving the machine. (The beauty of a 100ft hose). Overall it's a 5star sprayer. What I would like is options for larger pumps. Currently it has a 1 gpm pump, I would love to see what a 4.5 gpm pump would do. Great job Petra. This fills a void in the market FOR SURE! Austin D. I spray weed-killer on a one acre limestone parking lot and nineteen camprground lots. I spray about 40 gallons of Round-up three times per growing season. The 13 gallon Petra sprayer worked flawlessly during last growing season. I am beginning the second season with this sprayer. The hose is nice for the spraying of a large areas without having to constantly move the sprayer. When movement is necessary the reel works as designed to roll up the 100 feet hose. The sprayer when full of weed killer is heavy but still movable by a person of average strength. Persons of smaller stature may choose to utilize less gallons of product to reduce problems with moving the sprayer. One of the many wands is ideal for weed killer. The adjustable spray control is a nice addition and works well. The tool box mounted on top of the tank is easily accessible and has controls which are easy to operate. This sprayer is not over-engineered. It works as designed. It is notch above homeowner quality of construction but not of commercial quality. It is a reasonable buy for the price. It rolls easy on hard surfaces but takes effort to roll on limestone parking areas and grassy areas. The small pump seems adequate. The charger worked properly. The battery will last all day long. I do not have to recharge halfway through a day long spraying job. Should the lead acid battery wear out as all will do with the passage of years it will be easy to remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. The standardness of the 12 volt lead acid battery is a plus. All of the hose connections worked as designed. I would have given the sprayer a rating of "five" if it had larger rear wheels allowing easier movement on limestone parking areas. I had no problem with tipping. It has never tipped over while in use. It is also light enough for an average man to lift it onto the bed of a pick up truck when the water tank is empty. I assembled this unit more than a year ago and do not remember any assembly problems. I waited until I used this sprayer a full season before submitting this review.

I needed something larger than my pump sprayer so I ordered the PetraTools Battery Powered 13 Gallon Pushcart Sprayer. I found it easy to assemble by watching the instructional video on the Amazon product page. My first time using it I misplaced a nozzle and I contacted customer service and received a quick response from Mikki who is sending me a replacement. I am very satisfied with the high quality and the excellent customer service.

Unit Plastic cover was broken. The instructions book is confusing and doesn’t make sense and when I called customer service, the agents there could barely speak proper English. For example the instruction book says charge battery for the first time 6-8 hours. And when battery is fully charged, it will light up green and red. But in the actual unit it shows green and orange. When I called customer service the lady couldn’t explain it and tried to tell me that’s fine too. I said well than why is your instruction book stating otherwise. She didn’t have a proper answer and even though it was technical assistance Dept she was no help. Than I called back for another question. Gentleman was able to answer one question but not the other. Because according the website instructions it clearly stated and see photo of it as well that: “You may plug your HD14000 PRIME Sprayer unit in for constant battery maintenance, or if this is not possible, simply charge fully before storage.” But this rep said well it will overcharge and etc. I asked him why is your is your instructions different on phamphet and website and you are telling me something different. It seems they have to get their poor instructions in order. Also the instruction of putting it together are poorly written and poorly pictured. They should have an online video assembly like other companies.

I purchased this unit a year ago and started to use it yesterday I had an issue with priming the pump. I called Petra and spoke with Ms. Jen who helped me immediately and got the unit running.

I really like this sprayer so far, we ran into an issue but customer service fixed it. Handy having such a long hose to reach are whole yard. Plus, saves my back from packing a heavy backpack sprayer!
