I bought these steps for my little dog, a chihuahua mix. I bought it because it stated 'High-Density Foam'. They are sagging so badly and that is not from constant use (perhaps 5 times a day) since this is a secondary sofa. She will no longer use them because the 2nd step is sagging so badly that her footing is not secure. As senior on a fixed income, I will now have to go out and purchase a new set up steps and you can be certain I will not purchase this brand again. Very, very disappointed. Not even a year old! I love these stairs for my senior cat. She uses it all the time now and I will likely buy a couple of more for various rooms and my apartment. She is 17 years old and this is perfect for her so she doesn't hurt herself jumping up on to the couch or the bed thank you thank you

A little smaller then I excepted but that's user error. Be sure to check the dimensions to what height you are needing. For example this isn't big enough to get dogs up on most beds.

My pup is 16 and can no longer jump up on the couch (but bless her little soul she definitely still tries). I was worried about the material being foam, but it holds up incredibly well. Pretty sure the foam is sturdy enough to knock someone out if you really wanted to. My dog has no trouble at all hopping up the steps, and the steps have yet to topple over. This is so perfect for my chunky love nugget!! She’s naturally short and stocky,, but is now getting older (around 8yrs) and since getting fixed last year has turned into a round tater tot. With all that against her she doesn’t get far off the ground! Lol But It only took her a about a day to realize they are safe and allow her to get on my bed by herself.(she usually just grumbles and barks for me to pick her up) Now she doesn’t ever have to feel left out from the other dogs I have that are younger and/or taller than her that can hop in bed without a thought!! I use this for my elderly cat who is only ~10 lbs. I think it’s great for little pets. It did take time training her to use it, but now it’s second nature. The fabric does separate from the dense foam after a while, but I don’t think it’s a concern. It’s still as sturdy as it was on day 1. I liked so much I bought one for the bed as well. ... show more

We LOVE these steps!! Our long haired Chi-Chi is finally independent, not needing us to pick her up. We used to have a ramp of small pillows she would scoot up, but these definitely look more appropriate in the living room! They are easy to clean, we just use the handheld vac to remove the dog hair daily. We were so impressed, we ordered another for the smaller couch and we will be purchasing one more for a gameroom couch. Excellent quality, and with Prime shipping, it's too easy. These steps are GREAT!! We have 2 older cats who love to take over our bed during the day, but the jumping up and down is getting a little harder for them. Especially our bigger female cat; I've noticed that she had been hesitant to jump down onto the hardwood floor. Now she trots up and down these cushy foam steps like a youngster! The steps are lightweight enough to easily move them out of the way when I'm changing the sheets, and put them right back.
