Okay I bought one of these in 2016 or 2017 and it was an excellent harness. I have a lab who pulls me to death on a walk. Somehow my old harness came up missing recently. So I ordered the SAME SIZE as in 2017 and it is not the same harness size I received. The size I received is a bit to big. Even though it is the same size I ordered before. Not sure what's the deal with that. Still waiting for an answer from the company. The company has never responded.

I've been having this for a while now and thought I'd write a review, because of how great my experience has been with this harness. I want to start off by saying I have a English Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she's a medium size dog. This harness is easily adjustable. I got her a cheap harness before buying her this one and she used to pull on the leash so hard that she'd choke herself with it. This harness on the other hand prevents that from happening, because it holds her chest. She learned to walk with this harness since she was 5 months old. It's very easy to put on and take off. It's very durable as she could not break it no matter how much she pulled at first. It's padded so it seems to be comfortable. It looks nice and has a lock switch to hold it in place. She still has it to this day and it's as good as new. It's held up very good from long walks and rolling around in the grass. I'd say it's a great bang for your buck and I highly recommend.

This harness is well made and I love the easy to get on and off design. It has a lot of padding for comfort, and the locking belly strap clip adds an extra security measure to keep your dog safe. It's awesome in every way, except 1. The chest strap is not adjustable, and unfortunately this makes these harnesses completely unusable for my dogs. I have 2 dogs, a 25-lb puggle and an 8-lb toy fox terrier. I ordered the sizes indicated in the size chart--XS for my puggle and XXXS for my toy fox terrier. When they arrived, I adjusted the belly straps to the correct size, put them on my dogs, and off we went for our walk. The first thing I noticed was how big the chest strap was on my toy fox terrier. The belly strap fits fine, it's tight enough without being too tight. But she does not have a broad chest, and the chest strap is way too big. She walks fine in it, however it is very easy for her to slip one or both front legs through the chest strap, making the harness basically useless at that point. I had to constantly watch her during our walks to make sure she hadn't slipped through the harness. Unfortunately, it's unsafe so I am not able to use it. Even in the car, when clipped in to her seatbelt, she can easily slip out of it due to the chest strap being too big. My puggle's harness fits a little better, but the chest strap is also too big on her. with the same results of slipping her leg through the chest strap. I really wanted to use these harnesses, but unfortunately they are just not safe for my dogs.

I love this style of harness. There is plenty of space from the neck and padding at the chest that I feel confident I am not hurting him in his harness. Though I have a couple issues with this harness, I still love it. PROS: ** Easy to put on! - No need to lift the paws or determine direction - I can leave the leash clipped ** Well-padded - Good choice for sensitive skin ** Chest strap fits well - Past harnesses were too loose around this chest. This caused the strap to rub against his skin when he walks, leaving a row of scratches along his chest. - This harness stays in place as he walks, avoiding the skin damage of others ** Secure fit - My dog was able to slip out of 2 of his previous harnesses, but not this one! ** Soft area around chest -- no loose ends to scratch and damage sensitive skin ** High quality, very well-made ** Reasonably priced CONS: ** Incorrect sizing - My dog has a 16.5” chest girth, so I purchased the XXXS. The size chart claims to be for 15.6"~18.6". It just fits him when it is as loose as it can go. ** Very large, contrasted logo badges - This is a personal preference thing, of course. If they were smaller or only on one side, I wouldn't mind so much, but I do not like feeling like my dog is a walking billboard. ** Bulky - The bulkiness is worth it for the support and protection the harness supplies. MOTIVATION FOR PURCHASE: ** very sensitive and thin skin - most harnesses leave scrapes on his skin ** sensitive under front legs - needed harness to sit far from under arms ** step-in harnesses don't fit snugly around his neck and too snugly under his front legs DOG: Chest girth: 16.5" - ordered XXXS (15.6"~18.6" chest girth) Breed: miniature pinscher mix Weight: 12 lbs. THE BOTTOM LINE: It is very well-made and my dog is comfortable in it. I am disappointed with the inaccurate size chart, but I still think the chance for success is reasonably worth the risk.
