Pattern Name: Loft
Cat trees tend to be a bit ugly in my opinion, and this one definitely is not. Don't bother trying to read the instructions that come with it. It only makes a non-confusing thing confusing. I was able to put this together in about ten minutes (only a tad longer than the suggested two second) just using common sense. It literally clicks into place. So Easy! I don't really get why it is so expensive though. It's nice, but not $200 nice. The cardboard scratching wheel is ignored by my cats because they are picky. They like to scratch at an angle, not upright, so I might need to do some adjusting with that. I also wish that there was more of a padded lip on the top platform, as one of my kitties likes to nap on the top, but won't on this, because he feels he can't quite curl up properly. Overall this is a very visually appealing cat tower, that looks more unique than others. It's expensive, but perhaps it being unique makes it worth it. ... show more

PETLIBRO Infinity Cat Tree Tower for Indoor Cats, Modular Design and 2-Second Setup (Loft) The Loft cat tree tower arrived well packed (bubble wrap, Styrofoam, corners were protected) in its own branded box inside of an Amazon box, so if you are gifting it the recipient won’t know what’s inside. We received the smallest version of these Infinity towers, the “Loft”. It’s marketed as “Tailored for Kittens”, which we don’t have, but I ordered it because after checking the dimensions I knew where I was going to place it (against a corner wall next to our patio door) and I thought our two adult cats would enjoy the choice of being off the laminate floor but with a view to outside. Unpacking was easy and all the parts and user manual were inside the box. I flipped through the well written manual before starting to assemble and thought it’s almost too detailed (there’s a Contents page!). There’s a lot of assembly tip info at the beginning, but the installation instructions begin on page 9. This was very easy to set up. All parts either screw into place (no tools needed) or click solidly into place. The lock and unlock features are easy to use. Everything is solid and well finished. Six blue circular pads for the bottom base (instructions have you place four of them in the corners) and a sheet of stickers (the exact color of the base – it was amazing how they camouflaged the small, unused metal areas) are included. The two scratching posts (they arrive as four sections) are easily screwed into the two center spots of the solid, branded (PETLIBRO) base and are a good height. The blue sisal covered ball (the string has elastic/give and it contains a bell) can be clicked into place in four different corner areas but doesn’t have to be installed. The round scratching pad looks good with its blue sides and back and can be easily secured at any angle around any of the four sisal post sections. Both the medium and top lounging levels were used on day one. Our gray cat usually goes for the middle level with the soft felt pad (it was pre-installed so I was able to skip that installation step) and our oldest goes for the top level with the blue cat bed. Neither has rested their head on the pillow bit of the cat bed, but I could see kittens doing that as they fall asleep up there. The felt pad on the middle level and the blue cat bed came with a bunch of “Do not use…” (a washing machine, a brush, a hairdryer, bleach, etc.) instructions but no cleaning tips were provided. The listing states the felt pad is water resistant so it looks like a damp cloth may be used. The base, however, is easy to wipe clean (but it’s hard and smooth so I don’t see our cats resting on it). Bottom line? Our two adult cats immediately approved this tree, but at the current full retail price it’s on the expensive side given its more modest height. Any replacement parts that the company will sell in the future will also probably be on the expensive side. However, the simple set up and lock/unlock design is a step above and all the parts are solid and good looking. Unlike the typical carpeted cat tree, this tree may also grow (with flexible placement options) if you add other towers in the future. Made in China. ... show more

    • Modern design, incredibly easy assembly
Pattern Name: Loft
This is an interesting design, and very easy to assemble (and disassemble). No tools are needed for assembly (not “the tools are included”, no tools are needed), and everything fits together easily (getting the shelves into the right position may require gently pulling the posts apart a tiny bit. Once they are in place the whole thing is quite solid. The base is a single solid (and quite heavy) piece, and it would be very difficult to knock the assembled tree over. I was concerned about the amount of plastic in the construction, but it is quite heavy-duty plastic, and feels well-finished and very strong. I do feel it is a bit too expensive, but it is a very well-made tree. The scratching pad is not as nice (or as easy to attach) as the rest of the tree, and will almost certainly be the first part to fail. I do not mind this, since my cats won’t use this type of scratcher. They are picky. The smallest model (Loft) is not actually very flexible in design. The posts need to be placed only in the two screw holes in the center, and the shelves need to be placed between the two posts, on top of the connector between sections or the top cap. The hanging ball toy can go on any of the corners of a shelf, and the scratching pad can go on any post at any height. The modular design does make it very easy to disassemble the tree to move it more easily (the pieces will easily fit in a small car, where an assembled tree would not). ... show more

Pattern Name: Loft
This cat tower came beautifully packed flat and was super easy to assemble. It was very clear how it all went together. It remains stable with one or two cats on it, but our guys are on the smaller side.OI don't know how it would be with bigger cats. I have to say, the price was high compared to similar products.. Our new kitten loves this. She can go on the lower shelf while her brother sits on the top one and attack his tail. ... show more

    • So easy to put together!
Pattern Name: Loft
This is so easy to put together, I was blown away. I usually leave all assembly to my husband, but didn't need to for this! We got the smallest one, which has been used by both kittens and cats (barn cats)! I was a bit worried about stability if I didnt have it leaning up against a wall but it is quite solid! I love the blue mat on the top and the scratching posts are still nice even after a little use. I like the little additional toy but left it off since we won't be able to watch the cats constantly and just dont want them getting stuck on it. It is quite short compared to what you picture when you picture a "cat tree" - I think this is super nice and still usable and enjoyable by cats but I think the price is a little high, but if theres a window it fits nicely under and for the ease - I'd say worth it ... show more
