This is just the perfect little tool for keeping my dogs' faces clean. If you have a dog with long facial hair (I'm using this on my Standard Poodle puppy), you know how tricky those eye boogers can be. My routine is to hold a warm, wet cloth over the gunk for a moment to soften it up, and then this comb gently pulls it right out of the fur. It works great after a bath, too. I used to use a traditional flea comb for this, but I always got nervous about the sharp corners near their eyes. This one has rounded edges, so I feel much more secure using it and don't worry about accidentally poking my pup. I definitely recommend this one. In fact, I like it so much I'll probably pick up a second one just to have a spare in the grooming kit. In short: A safer, gentler alternative to using a flea comb near your pet's eyes. It grabs the gunk easily without the risk of poking them.

If you have a long haired dog who gets eye boogers and dry matty junk in their eyes, THIS is a godsend. Easy to use, safe to use, gets the job done. I have a Cavapoo and he gets the dry gunk in his eyes all the time. This cleans him up in seconds. Not expensive and works like a dream. Highly recommended.

Great tool in conjunction with wipes for removing tear stain goop from the fur beneath the eyes of dogs prone to weeping eyes. The teeth of this tool are super fine and remove even the most stubborn residue. It’s just what I was looking for - definitely recommend!

So I have a beautiful perfectly adorable Maltipoo and she actually lets me use this on her face. I always feel bad for the gunk that builds up and I try to get it off mostly with warm wash rag. It does help loosen it up and then to comb it out it’s perfect. I was so scared of poking her in the eyes, but it does exactly what it’s meant to do and it’s not too tight of a comb that would hurt them. Definitely something I would recommend!
