We are pricing out turf to redo our whole backyard. We ordered a smallish piece to see in person before we ordered enough for the whole yard. I was a little nervous about this product due to recent reviews saying it’s thin and poor quality, however I feel the quality is surprisingly good for the price. The turf is nice and plush with a good mix of different colored green blades as well as a low lying brown which gives it a good natural look. My only complaint is that it is very shiny right out of the box. I’m hoping the shine will fade a bit over time. I’ll update if any change.

We purchased a 13' by 23' piece after doing a bunch of research into the different options. In the end we have mixed feelings about choosing Petgrow. Pros: +The deluxe artificial grass is high quality. The deluxe grass is thick and has a shorter turf layer that makes it soft to walk and lay on without a padded backing. We installed it directly on our outdoor tile. +We have had the artificial grass for 1 month outside without a cover and it shows no signs of fading and dries off nicely after rain. Cons: -Shipping charges. The product was listed as having free shipping but when confirming my shipping address with the seller I requested the item to be rolled up to avoid creases. By ordering such a large piece we wanted it to look uniform without creases. We were told that because of the size of the order we needed to pay an additional $400 in shipping charges if shipped as a roll and they normally fold the artificial grass. That is nearly half the cost of the artificial grass!!! They then shipped the item shortly after telling me it would cost $400 in additional shipping so when I reached out to authorize the additional charge later the same day it was too late. -Creases left in artificial grass from shipping. Most of the creases have gone away from straightening them out and placing weights on the creases. But there still remains 1 distinctive crease down the middle and 2 smaller creases. We specifically wanted to avoid these creases and were willing to pay the additional shipping charge. -Shipping time. It took 18 days after ordering to receive the grass. The seller did not give the shipped company my correct phone number even though I confirmed it with them shortly after ordering. The seller gave me a tracking number and said they shipped it with FedEx. That was incorrect, they used a freight company which I had to track down 2 weeks after ordering. -Received exactly the size as ordered. Not a negative exactly but I read quite a few reviews that said they received artificial grass exceeding the size they ordered. Not the case for us. I ordered a 13 foot by 23 foot piece and received a 13' by 23' piece not an inch more. In summary, the quality of the artificial grass is high but the execution of the shipping, coordination of the order and customer service of Petgrow leaves room for improvement.
