The media could not be loaded. My 2 cats love it!!!! I wanted a scratching post that was tall enough for my cats to stop wanting to claw at the side of my couch, and this is it! I bought a cat tower that had a little mouse attached by a bungee cord, similar to the ball on this one, but my cat ripped it off in a matter of days. She’s been trying to do the same with the ball, but it’s been a week and the ball is still attached!! Tower is tall and durable enough for my bigger cat to attack from across the room, even climb up the side of it without it falling over. My cats love it!! They are the real critics anyways, so I’d they’re happy, I’m happy!!

Most of these scratching posts I purchase tend to fall over easily, but this one has additional boards you secure at the base that seem to combat this! Also has a great height.

The media could not be loaded. It’s pretty tall and they only use the bottom half, but I think when the bottom piece is no longer good I can screw the top half onto the base.

We've got a couple small cats (< 10 lbs) who use this regularly. They yanked off the ball almost immediately and it is little wobbly because they don't stand on the base while they scratch it, but they'd rather scratch this then the furniture and it has held up better than some others.
