I have a Shichon (mix of bichon frise & shih tzu) his hair can get really long and matted quickly, especially when wet. This is the best grooming brush Ive ever used. It gets to the root of his hair detangling and preventing matting. My dog also loves it and doesn’t go running across the room when I pull it out. It’s so gentle, he even likes it on his belly! It’s really simple and easy to use. So happy I came across this brush! It is absolutely worth the money, if your dog has dual coats or just long hair I’d highly recommend!

We have 2 labs and they both “puffy out hair”. This is the best brush we have found. The bristles are angled and really get the hair out but doesn’t pull and hurt your buddy. Cant be beat.

Our groomer suggested this brush after she used it on all 3 of our dogs (huskies) and it worked great. Our one boy is a Wooley and he had some serious clumps. This brush got those out and he looks great. Our other 2 weren't as bad but they still look great as well. So we purchased and finally got a chance to use. Not a bad brush. Handle worked for me and it got the hair out. It was a little harder for me to clean all the hair out but we used a comb and it worked. Now I do own many different brushes and combs because I have always owned huskies and some work better then others on the individual dog so I know that there is no perfect brush for all animals. But for the price and the ease of use at home this brush isn't bad and I would recommend.

Excellent brush for doodles. The pins are not too sharp although, you may need to brush it over cement to ensure the pins are not too sharp. Excellent handle for gripping.

This is my second brush like this. My first one is about 4-5 years old. It’s comparable to the more expensive Chris Christensen brush but at a much lower price. Built well, handles my standard poodle so coat and keeps her mat free in half the time as a regular slicker.

I'll just go ahead and say it, I'm more than most likely better than 99% of the groomers that are posting about this product (which I have bought 6 times, when the price was $18.99-20.99 range). I've owned two CC's prior to buying oodles of the Flying Pawfect brand and have been quite pleased with them. They are almost identical in shape, except the FP has a better handle. I noticed that most of the negative comments are from people who have received defective products and don't bother getting a return and just come on here to blast a product. Those are the groomers I usually stay away from, those are the kinds that like to talk trash behind clients backs - yucky. Having owned these since at least 2021, none of them have broke up on, only one is missing 3 pins and that one has been downgraded to my dirty/pre work brush. In comparison, my first ever CC brush started failing after 2 years and I had to buy another. That was a work load of 9-12 dogs a day with my own bather. CC's handle is way too thin for people with arthritis, FP's is nicer - but still not great (Miracle Coat's probably has the most comfortable handle). CC line has an over inflated ego now trying to branch out in the grooming market and is killing groomers with the ridiculous inflation - while the rest of the market has not only caught up, but improved the CC brush at an affordable price point. If you're still reading, don't let the PetSmart groomers deter you from your purchase - I'm boujie groomer that worked with very wealthy clients, but also a groomer who can work with dogs from full sedation to no drugs at all. So I do work. Get the Flying Pawfect be happy with the price point and it's body of work and if you get a defective one ask for a replacement - because you would do the same thing with a CC brush (and yes, I have seen the CC one's break in a week just from dropping).

This brush was perfect for my 2 doodles! I was way behind on grooming them and this bush not only cut the usual time in half for brushing, it also easily took out mats, and tangles. If you have a poodle or a doodle I highly recommend this brush.
