Once I realized what I was doing wrong, this thing worked perfectly! The roller is designed so that it never makes a full rotation. Instead, you draw it over the surface in one direction until it stops, and then you roll it back over the surface in the opposite direction. As the hair-grabbing surfaces on the roller go back and forth, they take turns collecting hair from the surface and then scraping that hair off into the collection bin. That bin is easily accessible by pressing a button at the top of the handle where you clean out the pile of collected hair... Looking for a tough job, I immediately attacked one of our pet beds with this thing. It didn't take many passes before the entire bed was clean, and there was a giant clump of collected hair in the bin. This thing was definitely up for the challenge!

I thought this worked really well. I love these things, I have a house full of animals and they do wonders when picking up hair. I just like to have more than one and the name brand is pricy. I would recommend this, the price point is much more reasonable and it worked the same.

Maybe my star rating is a bit harsh, because it does work. My sofa does not have tight fabric, so I had to roll it with extra effort. My star rating comes from the position of the release button to clean out. As I was using it, I kept hitting the release button. It works, but was annoying.

I have 3 cats and of course they leave hair behind. When I received my product I used it right away on my comforter and was astonished on how it removed every piece of hair and left zero behind. It took me 2 minutes. I use it on all of my furniture as well as my””the floor mats in my car. This was so inexpensive and works perfect. So easy to use and works better than my vacuum. I immediately ordered a second one to keep on my car. You will not be disappointed.

I have tried several different pet hair removers. Brushes just don't work and combs pick the fabric of my sofa. This just works and it works on everything.

This is great to keep in the car is you have fur babies that travel with you! It effectively gets the hair out of the fabric in my car. Also great for getting hair off your clothes!
