The butterfly wings are very pretty, lightweight, and appear to be well made. I wore the wings with black leggings, a black blouse and purple shoes. The black lace mask and headband antennae were a bonus and completed the costume nicely. I wore this to a Halloween-themed costume baby shower and got many compliments. My only suggestion is that the wings should be connected at an additional point about halfway down to keep them from separating too much (they are connected only at the neck strap and therefore hang and flutter a bit too loosely.) I was short on time so I safety-pinned the long straight edges of the wings together at one point about 18 inches below the neck strap. It worked well, but I will stitch them together before I wear them again. ... show more

Love the colors! I wish that instead of securing around the neck, they attached elastic bands to the top underside of the wings that you could loop your arms through and wear around your shoulder. This would keep the wings from slipping down. It was a little long on me - I’m 5 foot and bought the adult size. In order to keep it from dragging or being stepped on, I had to raise my arms quite a bit! I think it’d be nice too if the elastic for your fingers was bigger and could go around your wrist. I’m planning on returning it because of the length, but I think the kids size might fit me better! ... show more

Item was as described. I was happy the colors were bright. I'm 5' 4" and without shoes the tips just barely touch the ground. Even though it's wide, it is not too wide for my arms when I use the finger loops. Antenna can be adjusted to make it taller or shorter. The face mask is just material lace so there is not stiffness to it. For me it makes it more comfortable to wear this way. ... show more

My daughter rocked Halloween in this costume. She wanted something simple and this was it. She uses her own black leggings and shirt and black boots and threw this on. Easy peasy. She fluttered and flew with confidence. The mask was just a little itchy for her. She wore it most of the time but took it off after a while due to the itchiness.
